    Ovaj rad proučava animalističke motive kroz povijest europske umjetnosti, od prapovijesti do modernog doba. Rad se bavi pitanjima te na iste traži odgovore: Na koji način je čovjek povezan sa životinjama? Što životinje ljudima predstavljaju te kakvu simboliku nose kroz povijest? Zašto su prikazi životinja prisuti u umjetnosti kroz cijelu povijest? Odakle potječu animalistički prikazi te kako se manifestiraju danas? U ovom radu prolazimo kroz povijesna razdoblja od paleolitika i špiljskog slikarstva sve do modernog doba i današnjice te proučavamo animalističke prikaze u umjetnosti u području slikarstva. Uočavamo povezanost animalizma sa religijom, vjerovanjima, kulturom, društvom i filozofijom. Rad donosi odgovore na gore postavljena pitanja, sa mnoštvom primjera koji prate povijest umjetnosti u Europi, od paleolitika, preko Egipatskog slikarstva, rimskog i grčkih vaza, do gotike, ranokršćanske umjetnosti, predromanike i romanike. Govorimo o renesansnim umjetnicima kao što su Leonardo da Vinci i Michelangedo. Pratimo razdoblje baroka i dolazimo sve do moderne umjetnosti 19. i 20. stoljeća čiji su predstavnici često koristili animalističke motive u svojim djelima, tu spominjemo umjetnike svih vreme i njihova remek dijela kao što su Pablo Picasso, Edvard Munch i Salvador Dali. This paper studies animalistic motives throughout the history of European art, from prehistory to modern times. The work deals with questions and seeks answers to them: In what way is man connected with animals? What do animals represent to people and what symbolism do they carry throughout history? Why are representations of animals present in art throughout history? Where did animalistic displays come from and how are they manifested today? In this paper, we go through historical periods from the Paleolithic and cave paintings up to modern times and today, and we study animalistic representations especially in the field of painting. We are seeking connection of animalism with religion, beliefs, culture, society and philosophy. The paper provides answers to the above questions, with a multitude of examples that trace the history of art in Europe, from the Paleolithic, through Egyptian painting, Roman and Greek vases, to Gothic, early Christian art, pre-Romanesque and Romanesque. We are talking about Renaissance artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. We follow the Baroque period and come all the way to the modern art of the 19th and 20th centuries whose representatives often used animalistic motives in their works, here we mention artists of all time and their masterpieces such as Pablo Picasso, Edvard Munch and Salvador Dali.

    Authors: Juričić, Josipa;

    Označavanje vrsta riječi jedan je od temeljnih zadataka u području obrade prirodnog jezika. Ono samo po sebi ne rješava određeni problem u obradi prirodnog jezika, ali je preduvjet za mnoge druge procese kao što su analiza sentimenta, prevođenje teksta ili prepoznavanje govora. Označavanja temeljena na pravilima, transformacijama ili stohastičkim metodama opisana su i uspoređena sa korištenjem neuronskih mreža u svrhu označavanja vrsta riječi. Implementirane su RNN i LSTM arhitekture neuronske mreže čiji modeli mogu provoditi automatsko označavanje vrsta riječi za dani tekst pisan hrvatskim jezikom. Kako bi se utvrdila efikasnost uporabe modela neuronske mreža za ovakav zadatak, modeli su testirani i evaluirani. Cilj je prikazati primjenu neuronskih mreža za razvoj označivača vrsta riječi hrvatskog jezika. Part-of-speech tagging is one of the main tasks of natural language processing. On its own, it does not solve a specific problem of natural language processing but it is a part of preprocessing in sentiment analysis, text translation or speech recognition. In the first part of this thesis the rule-based, transformation based and stochastic methods of part-of-speech tagging are described and compared to neural network methods. As a practical part of the thesis, RNN and LSTM neural network models are implemented for an automatic part-of-speech tagger of the Croatian language. To check the efficiency of using the neural network approach for this task, models are tested and evaluated. The aim of this thesis is to implement neural networks for an automatic part-of-speech tagger of the Croatian language.

    U ovom radu prikazan je i obrazložen glavni projekt tunela 'Kamen'. U projektu se opisuju osnovne prometne i geometrijske karakteristike tunela kao i projektno rješenje te sama šira problematika izgradnje tunela. Uz geološke i geotehničke karakteristike terena također su posebno prikazane stijenske mase i načini iskopa i podgrade te usvojena geotehnička i građevinska rješenja. This paper presents and explains the main project of the 'Kamen' tunnel. The project describes the basic traffic and geometric characteristics of the tunnel, as well as the design solution and the broader issue of tunnel construction itself. In addition to the geological and geotechnical characteristics of the terrain, rock masses and methods of excavation and subgrade, as well as adopted geotechnical and construction solutions, are also shown.

    Authors: Čečuk, Marin;

    Ovaj rad prikazuje Cassirerovu teoriju simboličkih oblika, odnosno teoriju simboličkog sustava. Sustav simboličkih oblika je jedan jedinstveni sustav preko kojeg Cassirer želi objasniti načine, mogućnosti i specifičnosti čovjekovog spoznavanja svijeta. Preko simboličkih formi čovjek oblikuje svijet. Zbog njegovih osobitosti, simboli su čovjekovi nužni načini komuniciranja sa svijetom jer je „razapet“ između podražaja i doživljaja. Simbolički sustav ili mreža jedan je progresivan sustav koji pokušava objasniti čovjekovu cjelokupnu spoznaju. Simbolički oblici koje Cassirer izdvaja bitnima za ljudsku spoznaju su mit, religija, jezik, umjetnost, povijest i znanost. Svaki od tih oblika ističe se na sebi svojstven način, ali isto tako svaki prethodni simbolički oblik na neki način utječe na drugi. Ipak, svaki od simboličkih oblika ima svoju samostalnost i specifične načine razvitka i kretanja, kao i da jedan simbolički oblik ne ukida drugi, već se samo nadopunjuju u sveukupnoj shemi simboličkog sustava. Teoriju simboličkog sustava Cassirer gradi u svrhu izgradnje jedinstvene filozofijske antropologije koja daje odgovore na brojna pitanja o čovjeku. This work presents Cassirer's theory of symbolic forms, the theory of the symbolic system. The system of symbolic forms is a unique system through which Cassirer wants to explain the ways, possibilities and specifics of man's knowledge of the world. Through symbolic forms, a man build a world. Because of their peculiarities, symbols are man's necessary ways of communication with the world because he is "crussified" between stimulus and experiences. A symbolic system or symbolic chain is a progressive system that tries to explain man's entire knowledge. The symbolic forms that Cassirer singles out as essential for human knowledge are myth, religion, language, art, history and science. Each of these forms stands out in its own way, but also each previous symbolic form in some way influences the other. Nevertheless, each of the symbolic forms has its own independence and specific ways of development and movement, as well as that one symbolic form does not abolish the other, but only complements itself in the overall scheme of the symbolic system. Cassirer builds the theory of the symbolic system by a purpose to build a unique philosophical anthropology that provides answers to numerous questions about man.

    Authors: Madunić, Antonia;

    U ovom radu prikazani su usmenoknjiževni oblici duvanjskog kraja. Oni obuhvaćaju povijesne i etiološke predaje kao i osvrt na crkveno-pučku baštinu. Povijesne predaje, najvećim dijelom tiču se patnji i stradanja za vrijeme osmanske okupacije i podataka o prvom hrvatskom kralju Tomislavu. S druge strane, etiološke predaje donose nam podatke o podrijetlu naziva određenih lokaliteta. Kada je riječ o crkveno-pučkoj baštini važno je naglasiti kako su uskrsni i božićni običaji najbolji pokazatelj njegovanja tradicije. Mise zornice, paljenje badnjaka, post, umivanje u cvjetnoj vodi i tucanje jajima samo su neki od običaja koji su zastupljeni na području duvanjskog kraja. Svadbe i vjenčanja najčešće su popraćene izvođenjem seoskih himni, a manifestacija pod nazivom Dani svetog Nikole Tavelića održava se svake godine u srpnju i okuplja velikog broj Duvnjaka koji štuju istoimenog sveca, a koji je ujedno i zaštitnik duvanjske bazilike. U suštini, rad donosi mnogobrojne kršćanske i pučke običaje koji su karakteristični za duvanjski kraj, a kojima, nažalost, prijeti zaborav. Iznimno je važno da spomenuti običaji ostanu trajno zabilježeni i sačuvani od zaborava kao obilježje našeg identiteta This thesis is depicting narrative forms of oral literature of the Duvno region. It encompasses historical and etiological folklore narrations as well as a rewiew of church-folk heritage. Historical folklore myths are mostly concerned with sufferings that the people of the area experienced during the Ottoman occupation, but they also touch on legends of the first croatian king- Tomislav. Etiological narrations, on the other hand, are useful in explaining the origin of names of various localities. Regarding church-folk inheritance, it is important to note that Easter and Christmas traditions are the best indicators of the preservation of tradition. Dawn church masses, setting tree branches on fire (known as „badnjak“), washing face in floral water, and egg taping are just some of those traditions that can be found in Duvno region. Wedding ceremonials are mostly accompained by folk hymns, while the day of St. Nikola Tavelić, the patron saint of the Duvno basilica, takes place every July, gathering many residents of the region together. All in all, this thesis is concerned with many Christian and folk traditions that are typical for the region but are threatened to fall into oblivion. It is of paramount importance for these traditions and folk narrations to be permanently noted and archived and consequently protected from their disappearance in the region's identity.

    Authors: Pisac, Jolanda;

    Književnost je 20. stoljeća ispunjena raznolikim književnim tendencijama te je poput kakve krune korpusa hrvatske nacionalne književnosti 1965. napisan Kiklop Ranka Marinkovića. Tematizira često korištenu temu rata kao nepremostivog zla pred kojim prosječan čovjek osjeća strah, beznađe i zbog čega emotivno i tjelesno tone. Predstavljajući okruženje velegrada i društvo predratnog vremena, Marinković se vješto poslužio i svojim bogatim općim znanjem. Kombinirao je osnovnu događajnu liniju s referencama na humanistička i prirodna znanstvena područja od čega je fokus u ovome radu stavljen na intermedijalne veze s likovnom umjetnošću. Ta se povezanost može pratiti još od antičkih vremena, a posebno je u hrvatskoj književnosti prisutna u romanima 20. stoljeća pa se u gotovo svakom djelu, od egzistencijalističkih do romana proze u trapericama, može uočiti poneka aluzija na povijest umjetnosti. Očekivano je da funkcije tim citatima nisu jednake, kako između različitih romana tako i unutar svakog pojedinog djela. Na temelju toga, raznoliki su i razbacani intermedijalni citati sistematizirani i podijeljeni po pojedinim područjima unutar polja povijesti umjetnosti. Marinkovićev je roman zasigurno vječna inspiracija i nepresušni izvor za izučavanje zahvaljujući svojem gusto ispunjenom sadržaju. The literature of the 20th century was filled with diverse literary tendencies, and like a crown of the Croatian national literature corpus, Ranko Marinković’s Cyclops was written in 1965. It thematizes the frequently used theme of war as an insurmountable evil before which the average person feels fear, hopelessness and which causes him to sink both emotionally and physically. In presenting the environment of the pre-war metropolis and its society Marinković skilfully made use of his rich general knowledge. He combined the basic event-line with references to humanistic and natural science fields, from which the focus in this paper is placed on intermediate connections with fine arts. This connection can be traced back to ancient times, and it is especially present in Croatian literature in the 20th century novels, so in almost every work, from existentialist novels to jeans prose novels, some allusion to the history of art can be found. It is expected that the functions of these citations are not equal, both between different novels and within each individual work. Based on that, the various and scattered intermedial citations are systematized and divided into individual fields within the art history field. Marinković’s novel is certainly an eternal inspiration and an inexhaustible source for study thanks to its densely filled content.

    Authors: Mišetić, Dijana;

    Rad „Motivi nematerijalne kulturne baštine u 'Prosjacima & sinovima' i trilogiji Ivana Raosa u kontekstu suvremenoga kulturalnog pamćenja” podijeljen je u deset poglavlja, a započinje Uvodom u kojem se objašnjava pojam nematerijalne kulturne baštine, zapažaju interferencije usmene i pisane književnosti još od pojave prvih hrvatskih pisanih spomenika, donose biografski podatci o književniku Ivanu Raosu i njegovu raznolikom opisu, a posebice trilogiji „Vječno žalosni smijeh” i romanu „Prosjaci & sinovi” koji su predmet doktorskoga rada. Uvod također sadrži podatke o upotrijebljenoj građi i metodološkim postupcima, kao i ciljeve istraživanja i hipoteze. Drugo poglavlje nosi naziv Predaje. U radu je korištena Dragićeva klasifikacija predaja na povijesne predaje, etiološke predaje, eshatološke predaje, mitske predaje, demonološke predaje i pričanja iz života. Ivan Raos u svoj je roman „Prosjaci & sinovi” i trilogiju „Vječno žalosni smijeh” inkorporirao brojne predaje. Treće poglavlje proučava legendu. Jedna od najčešćih hrvatskih legendi obrađuje temu propasti Gavanovih dvora, izvorno starozavjetne priče o Sodomi i Gomori. Legenda o Gavanu i Lazaru sadržaj je don Pavlove propovijedi svake prve tople proljetne nedjelje kad su se prosjaci od zanata pripremali za odlazak u prosjačenje. Četvrto poglavlje bavi se hrvatskim usmenim epskim pjesmama kojima je narod sve znanje i iskustvo, oblikovano najčešće u desetercu, zadržavao unutar zajednice, poučavajući tako njezine pripadnike vlastitoj povijesti. Najveći broj hrvatskih usmenih epskih pjesama opjevava nevolje koje su dolazile od Turaka. U mnogim je krajevima pjevanje epskih pjesama bilo popraćeno sviranjem na guslama, tradicijskom instrumentu načinjenom od jednog komada drva. Sljedeće poglavlje donosi primjere usmenih lirskih pjesama inkorporiranih u Raosovu trilogiju i „Prosjake & sinove”, s posebnim naglaskom na povijesne pjesme, poskočice u kolu, naricaljke, uspavanke, šaljive pjesme, gangu i ojkavicu. Šesto poglavlje naslovljeno Poslovice govori o mikrostrukturama kojima se u obliku sažete tvrdnje izriče istinitost životnih pojava. Temeljna civilizacijska djela poput Epa o Gilgamešu Veda, Talmuda i Biblije obiluju poslovicama, ali i Raosova djela, predmet ovoga rada. 564 U usmeno-retoričke oblike ubrajamo zdravice, blagoslove, brojalice i brzalice, kletve i basme. Primjere svake od navedenih vrsta nalazimo kod Raosa, a najbrojnije su kletve. Osmo poglavlje bavi se bogatom crkveno-pučkom baštinom hrvatskoga naroda. Blagdani i njihove proslave predstavljali su narodu odmak od radne svakodnevice, a mladima pružali priliku za međusobno upoznavanje. Sveci koji se u izabranim romanima spominju, a koji su potom dublje istraženi su sveti Martin, sveta Katarina Aleksandrijska, sveti Blaž, sveti Roko i sveti Ivan Krstitelj, a dani i blagdani uz čiju se proslavu vežu bogati običaji Badnjak i Božić, korizma, Veliki tjedan s naglaskom na Velikom trodnevlju, Uskrs, Tijelovo i Velika Gospa. Deveto poglavlje posvećeno je položaju žena Imotske krajine, a deseto poglavlje nekadašnjim običajima: običaju kruženja bukare, značaju ognjišta, pečenju rakije i ispijanju bikle, običajima prakticiranima na samrti i nakon smrti kada je trebalo sve pripremiti za pokop. Posebna je pozornost usmjerena i na svadbene običaje, ali i na nekadašnji običaj gonjanja i liganja koji Raos često spominje u navedenim djelima. Rad je prožet brojnim memoratima kazivača od kojih su mnogi prvi put zapisani, stoga predstavljaju neprocjenjivu vrijednost za hrvatsku usmenu baštinu The paper ”Motives of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Prosjaci & sinovi and Trilogy of Ivan Raos in the Context of Contemporary Cultural Memory” is divided into ten chapters and begins with an introduction which explains the concept of intangible cultural heritage and notes the interference of oral and written literature since the appearance of the first Croatian written monuments. It also provides biographical information about the writer Ivan Raos and his diverse description, especially the trilogy “Vječno žalosni smijeh” and the novel “Prosjaci & sinovi” which are the subject of this doctoral thesis. The introduction also contains information on the material used and methodological procedures, as well as targeted research and hypotheses. The second chapter is called Tales. The paper uses Dragić's classification of tales into historical, etiological, eschatological, mythical, demonological tales and life stories. Ivan Raos incorporated numerous tales into his novel "Prosjaci & sinovi" and the trilogy "Vječno žalosni smijeh". The third chapter studies the legend. One of the most common Croatian legends deals with the theme of the downfall of Gavan's palaces, originally an Old Testament story of Sodom and Gomorrah. The legend of Gavan and Lazarus is the content of Don Pavle’s sermon every first warm spring Sunday as the beggars of the craft prepared to go begging. The fourth chapter deals with Croatian oral epic poems, usually formed in decasyllable, that served people to keep all their knowledge and experience within the community, thus teaching its members their own history. Most of the Croatian oral epic songs sing of the troubles that came from the Turkish Ottoman Empire. In many parts, the singing of epic songs was accompanied by playing gusle, a traditional instrument made from a single piece of wood. The next chapter provides examples of oral lyric poems that Raos incorporated into trilogy and “Prosjaci & sinovi” with special emphasis on historical songs, songs sung during the wheel dance, lamentations, lullabies, humorous songs, ganga and ojkavica. The sixth chapter, entitled Proverbs, deals with microstructures which, in the form of a concise statement, express the truth of life phenomena. Basic civilizational works such as the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Vedas, the Talmud and the Bible abound in proverbs, as well as the work of Raos.

    Authors: Lozančić, Gloria;

    Otok Korčula neotkriveni je biser južne Dalmacije koji piše svoje priče još od davnih vremena. Istoimeni grad čini ga bogatijim jer unutar svojih masivnih bedema krije mnoštvo povijesnih zapisa, običaja, tradicije te umjetnosti. Zahvaljujući volji mještana i prenošenju običaja i tradicije s generacije na generaciju, narod je dobio na kulturnom i duhovnom planu bogatstvo koje je neprocjenjivo. U radu se navode vjerski određeni blagdani i spomendani kao što su Božić, Velika Gospa, razdoblje korizme i slično, te pučki običaji od kojih se neki preklapaju sa vjerskima. Naglasak je stavljen na zaštitnika grada Korčule svetog Todora. Štuje se od davnih vremena kada su njegove relikvije položene u katedralu svetoga Marka. Gradske bratovštine i mještani svojim bezuvjetnim davanjem te prenošenjem tradicije čuvaju svečanu tradicionalnu procesiju obilježavajući je dana 29. srpnja koja je popraćena različitim manifestacijama. Njegova neprocjenjiva baština pobudila je želju za otkrivanjem tog skromnog, ali bogatog mjesta, stoga prvenstveni cilj jest prikazati svetog Todora u okviru hrvatske tradicijske baštine te istaknuti važnost tradicije kao same takve. The island of Korčula is an undiscovered pearl of southern Dalmatia that has been writing its stories since ancient times. The town of the same name makes it richer because within its massive ramparts it hides a multitude of historical records, customs, traditions and art. Thanks to the will of the locals and the transmission of customs and traditions from generation to generation, the people have gained a cultural and spiritual wealth that is invaluable. The paper lists religiously specific holidays and commemorations such as Christmas, Assumption, Lent and the like, and folk customs, some of which overlap with religious ones. Emphasis was placed on the patron saint of the town of Korčula, St. Todor. It has been revered since ancient times when his relics were laid to rest in St. Mark's Cathedral. City fraternities and locals, with their unconditional giving and transmission of tradition, keep the solemn traditional procession, marking it on July 29th, which is accompanied by various events. His invaluable heritage has aroused the desire to discover this humble but rich place, so the primary goal is to present St. Todor within the Croatian traditional heritage and emphasize the importance of tradition as such.

    Authors: Juričić, Josipa;

    Authors: Madunić, Antonia;

    Authors: Lozančić, Gloria;
