L’éditeur Singer et Wolfner et ses activités de publication de livres pour enfants au tournant du siècle 1888–1920 Dans mon étude, je me propose de contribuer à l’étude institutionelle de la littérature d’enfance et de jeunesse. Je m’intéresserai surtout au contexte socio-historique et aux annonces publicitaires présentées par l’éditeur Singer et Wolfner. La périodisation, proposée par Zoltán Hermann, pour la littérature d’enfance étant adoptée ici, la recherche que je présenterai étudie la période qui est celle de l’institutionnalisation de la sphère et du marché ouvert, c’est-à-dire les années 1888–1918. Au centre de la recherche: l’une des maisons d’édition majeures de l’époque, le Singer et Wolfner. La première grande unité de mon étude présente les ouvrages pour enfants publiés par l’éditeur en question. Quant à la deuxième partie, elle soumet à l’analyse les publicités que Singer et Wolfner ont fait paraître sur les pages d’Az Én Újságom [Mon journal á moi] aux années suivantes: 1888/1889., 1900, 1910, 1918, 1920. Il ressort de la recherche qu’au début Singer et Wolfner publièrent uniquement des ouvrages hongrois contemporains et des oeuvres de fiction, leur stratégie étant fondée sur une conception qui mettait en valeur la fonction didactique de la littérature d’enfance et de jeunesse. Des exemplaires étaient souvent offerts aux enfants en tant que cadeaux ou récompenses. Ce didactisme se manifeste dans les annonces publiées en Az Én Újságom. Les annonces en question – privilégiant les instruments verbaux au dépens des images – ciblent, assez efficacement, des groupes spécifiques. Contribution à l’étude de la bibliothèque de Balthasar (IIIe) Batthyány. Factures, acquéreurs et ouvrages récemment identifiés Balthasar Batthyány, l’un des aristocrates les plus cultivés de son époque, était un collectionneur passionné de livres. Béla Iványi fut le premier à étudier systématiquement l’activité de collectionneur de Batthyány et à établir la liste de ses livres. Dans leur Balthasar Batthyány und seine Bibliothek, paru en 2004, István Monok, Péter Ötvös et Edina Zvara ont reconstruit, sur la base de quelques lettres et factures conservées aux Archives Nationales (P 1314), la partie prépondérante de la bibliothèque. 670 volumes ont été identifiés jusqu’à aujourd’hui, mais la liste peut être élargie, en s’appuyant sur quelques nouvelles informations fournies par les lettres et les factures étudiées, en corrigeant quelques fautes de lecture héritées d’Iványi et enfin en se servant de quelques récentes bases de données informatiques. Au total, j’ai réussi á identifier 24 ouvrages supplémentaires de la collection. Il ressort des lettres étudiées que Batthyány avait recours à des méthodes très variées pour acquérir de nouveaux ouvrages et que dans ses efforts, il avait été assisté de nombreux humanistes, scientifiques et vassaux. Gyula Todoreszku et la collection Cyrillica de la BN de Hongrie L’objectif de mon étude est la présentation des imprimés anciens roumains localisés dans la collection Cyrillica de la Bibliothèque Nationale de Budapest. Au moment présent, la collection est composée de 160 imprimés. Le catalogue central electronique rend compte de 29 imprimés supplémentaires qui proviennent certainement du legs Todoreszku. Il s’agit donc de 189 anciens livres roumains. Dans mon étude, j’esquisserai en grandes lignes la fortune des cyrillica de la collection Todoreszku et l’histoire de la formation de la collection des cyrillica. La recherche m’a fourni l’occasion d’identifier 5 imprimés auparavant inconnus et de constater que la collection renferme 4 exemples uniques d’anciens imprimés roumains. Joannes Baptista Novosoliensis, the second philologist in Hungary This study presents the editorial work of a hitherto little known 16th century philologist from the Kingdom of Hungary, Joannes Baptista Novosoliensis of (Neuzohl) Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. After having earned the bachelor’s degree in Cracow (1499) and further studies in Bologna (1523) under Giovan Battista Pio and Lazzaro Bonamico, he moved back to Cracow in 1527, where he published four editions for the sake of his students. Although there is sufficient information about all four, only two of them survive, an edition of Cicero’s Pro Marco Marcello (1528), and the Ad Quintum fratrem 1, 1. He added marginal notes and a detailed commentary to his edition of the Ad Quintum fratrem 1, 1, which include references to textual criticism and to a now lost manuscript of Cicero’s letter in the San Domenico convent of Bologna. An analysis of the variant readings in the edition has shown, that Novosoliensis was using Andreas Cratander’s 1528 Basel edition of Cicero as a starting point in establishing the text. In our research we aim to examine this allophonic alternation of the laryngeal fricative from a phonetic point of view, in an attempt to shed more light on the phonetic and phonological factors that may facilitate or restrain the occurrence of [ɦ] in Hungarian, and thus to test previous claims of phonology and phonetics on this issue. As a first step, the present study investigated the effect of two vowel quality features, vowel openness and backness, and a phonological conditioner, pitch-accent on the ratio of voicing that occurs in intervocalic /h/ in laboratory speech. As a secondary aim we also tried to raise questions regarding the very specific type of voice quality this unique fricative exhibits, breathy voice. For this purpose, we also analyzed two more acoustic parameters, center of gravity and the harmonics- to-noise ratio, which are traditionally suggested to reliably and informatively quantify voice quality in fricatives. The results confirmed our hypothesis, that the intervocalic voicing of /h/ may be regarded as a purely phonetic process not governed or restrained by phonological processes, but only by the presence of the two flanking vowels. In a fine-grained phonetic analysis, however, we also showed that this phonetic process may be affected by the vocalic feature, openness of the flanking vowels, via coarticulation, and that front and back vowels may not be regarded as homogenous groups of vowels in the open – close dimension. We interpreted the latter results by taking into account a less simplified explanation of vowel articulation, and the complex interactions of the tongue and the larynx structures. The aim of this paper is to describe how emotive information is conveyed through speech. Specific attention was paid to the differences along the dimension of emotional arousal and valence. 10 Hungarian speakers, 5 female and 5 male uttered the vowel /a/ expressing 7 emotions and an emotionally electroglottographic (EGG) signals were recorded simultaneously in a sound- treated room. Voice quality was determined based on both auditory impressions and visual inspection of waveforms and spectrograms. For periods labeled as modal, fundamental frequency (f0) was measured, and the EGG contact quotient (CQ) was calculated using two different evaluation techniques for a fine-grained articulatory analysis of this perceptually homogenous and neutral phonation type. Apart from analyzing how emotions showing different activation and valence differ from each other with respect to these parameters using generalized linear mixed models, a principal component analysis (PCA) of the above mentioned acoustic and articulatory measures was also carried out to inspect whether variability of these parameters is, in fact, best explained by these two dimensions. Irregular phonation was found to be similarly frequent in the expression of ANGER for both genders (26% of the total duration of all utterances expressing that emotion for females, 29% for males). Females also used irregular phonation often when expressing CONTENTMENT (34%), a pattern not appearing in males’ speech. Breathy voice was observed to express emotions with positive valence (CALM and HAPPINESS) for both genders. Males followed this pattern even in the case of CONTENTMENT (30%), showing that this emotion is expressed using different non-modal voice qualities. Fundamental frequency was significantly higher when expressing emotions with high arousal, compared to low-arousal emotions. CQ values did not show any systematic variation for females, but for males, there was a significant effect of emotion on CQ. Particularly, the effect of arousal level was significant: a Tukey post-hoc test showed that men express low-arousal emotions with significantly lower CQ compared to emotions with high arousal. The principal component analysis of f0 and the two CQ measures showed that the variability of these measures is best explained by dimensions that actually cluster emotions of similar arousal and valence together. neutral realization, 3 repetitions each. A kötet a Magyar Gyógypedagógusok Egyesületének éves szakmai konferenciáján elhangzott előadások alapján készült rövid tanulmányokat tartalmazza. A kötet bemutatja, hogy a szakemberek és segítő szervezetek közreműködésével miként lehet elősegíteni a speciális társadalmi megsegítést igényló gyermekek, fiatalok és felnőttek életminőségének javulását, esélyegyenlőségének megvalósulását.
