This study examines the reception of Friedrich Nietzsche’s (1844-1900) concept of the Übermensch in mainly three different time periods. Our goal is to uncover how and why the Übermensch is interpreted in various ways. The first period is in fin de siècle Denmark where Georg Brandes (1842-1927) and Harald Høffding (1843-1931) had an intellectual feud spanning the years 1889-1890 with Brandes’ introduction of Nietzsche to a wider intellectual audience as its catalyst. In the second period we find ourselves in the interbellum and post-war period in Germany. Here we examine the philosopher and Nazi ideologue Alfred Bäumler (1887-1968) and the philosopher Karl Löwiths (1897-1973) Nietzsche and Übermensch reception. The third period stretches from the 1990’s with the transhumanist philosopher Max More’s (1964-) Nietzsche and Übermensch reception in the formulation of his Extropian branch of transhumanism up until the turn of the century with the Sloterdijk-Habermas controversy in Germany regarding debates about humanism, eugenics and our possible posthuman future(s). We conclude that the Übermensch is understood radically differently depending on which of Nietzsche's other ideas the recipients subscribe or don’t subscribe to. Thereby the possible interpretation of the Übermensch contains a plasticity that depends on the recipient's understanding and normative position in regards to Nietzsche's other ideas.

The principle focus of this thesis is to analyze the problems and challenges experienced by six professionals working in the Danish public welfare sector, in terms of management during their return to work (RTW) process by their workplaces, following sick leave due to work related stress. Furthermore, this analysis sets out to support and improve the RTW-process by including suggestions from the welfare professionals.Through a critical hermeneutic perspective, a normative ideal has been defined as: the right to be seen and heard during the RTW-process. A theoretical framework was applied in order to formulate a greater understanding of the welfare professionals' experiences. The framework consists of the following theories: stress as trauma, the SOS-perspective, and worklife concepts of control, influence and predictability.The research concludes that there are several challenges and problematic areas that affect the welfare professionals' experiences. First, contact by the workplace during the sick leave period leads to ambivalence, and second, during the RTW-process they experience challenges regarding a misalignment of work engagement expectations compared to their managers. Also, due to the emotionally demanding work they as welfare professionals carry out, an ambivalence prevailed regarding the workload and tasks required of them upon their RTW.Additionally, the discussion paragraph reflects upon the research design of this thesis. It alsoexamines and compares RTW-research to the findings within this thesis. And lastly, we discuss possible improvements for a positively experienced RTW-process as suggested by the welfare professionals.

The Danish General Election in 2022 was dubbed the "TikTok election," with several political parties turning to the digital platform as a means to communicate with voters. The focus of this master's thesis is to examine the TikTok communication strategy of Liberal Alliance during this election, and to explore the significance of the platform. Most importantly, this thesis aims to investigate the perception of Liberal Alliance TikTok videos by representatives of the intended target groups during the election. To understand and analyze Liberal Alliance's communication strategy and market position, this thesis conducts an elite interview with the party's communication advisor. The empirical data of the thesis is based on a mixed-method research approach, which combines a quantitative questionnaire and one qualitative content analysis and additionally and six interviews of women and men within the age group of 18-28 years who used TikTok and had seen TikTok videos from Liberal Alliance. The theoretical framework of this thesis includes Preben Sepstrups theory on communication strategy, the methodological-theoretical reception theory by Kim Schrøder, theoretical perspectives on personalization given by Peter Van Aelst, Tamir Scheafer, and James Stanyer, as well as Lisbeth Herman and Maurice Vergeers. Furthermore, the thesis will include the theoretical framework of TikToks communicative forms by Andreas Schellewald, as well as theory on TikTok's technical and social affordances. The study’s discussion highlights a hype around the party’s performance on TikTok. Despite TikTok being a platform that usually conveys a sense of informality and privacy, the thesis mostly finds a professional aspect of Alex Vanopslagh. The study finds that Liberal Alliance's presence on TikTok did not significantly impact the party’s success in the 2022 Danish General Election. Nonetheless, the party appeals to the young target group and has created significant awareness among Generation Z. The study shows that the party's momentary success was due to individualizing Alex Vanopslagh as a front figure and incorporating politainment, memefication and attacking. However, the party failed to capitalize on TikTok's technical and social affordances to create sustainable popularity.

Baggrund: Personcentreret praksis (PCP) er en international anerkendt tilgang til pleje og behandling af mennesker. Dog har det vist sig svært at implementere i en praksiskontekst.Formål: At undersøge i hvilken grad plejepersonale (PP) oplever en personcentreret tilgang i plejen og behandlingen af kræftpatienter, herunder at identificere potentielle barrierer og facilitatorer for implementeringen af en PCP-kultur.Metode: Data blev indsamlet blandt PP (n=228) i Afdeling for Kræftbehandling, Rigshospitalet. PP arbejdede i ambulatorier, sengeafdelinger og stråleterapiafsnittet. PCPI-S blev anvendt til at indsamle data via et elektronisk spørgeskema. Data blev analyseret statistisk.Resultater: Der blev opnået en responsrate på 64% (n=145). PP oplever i høj grad at deres sygepleje er personcentreret målt på domænerne ”forudsætninger” (4,19±0,79), ”praksismiljøet” 3,82±0,88) og ”personcentrerede processer” (4,18±0,75).Konklusion: PCP ses allerede implementeret. For yderligere at understøtte udviklingen af den PCP-kultur, er der behov for understøttelse af en anerkendende kultur, en feedbackkultur samt inddragelse af PP i beslutningsnetværk, der har indflydelse på klinisk praksis. Background: Person-centred practice (PCP) has proven to be an international recognized approach to care and treatment. Despite this, it has proven difficult to implement. Aim: To explore in what degree healthcare professionals (HCP) perceived a person-centred ap-proach in care and treatment of cancer patients and to identify potential barriers and facilitators for implementing a PCP culture.Method: Data were collected among HCP (n=228) in Department of Oncology, Rigshospitalet. The HCP worked in outpatient wards, inpatient wards and in radiation therapy section. The instrument PCPI-S was used to collect data through an electronic questionnaire. Data were analyzed statically.Results: A 64% response rate was achieved (n=145). HCP perceived a high degree of PCP assessed from the domains “prerequisites” (4,19±0,79), “practice environment” (3,82±0,88), “person-centred processes” (4,18±0,75).Conclusion: PCP is already implemented in Department of Oncology. To further support the devel-opment of the PCP culture, there is a need to support an appreciative culture, a feedback culture as well as involvement of HCP in networks where decisions impact the clinical practice.

In recent years, countless debates regarding social media platforms’ ability to claim andmobilize user data have taken the media, as well as ordinary debate by storm, in which Metais no exception.This paper therefore seeks to provide an analysis of Meta Platforms’ troubles with adapting tothe GDPR-law, by using Jürgen Habermas’ theory of the deliberative democracy inconjunction with modern Nudging-theory as a baseline. To accomplish this goal, the studylargely draws from qualitative methods with a focus on the analysis of certain documents, aswell as using Meta’s continuous scandals and more specifically legal troubles as casematerial. The analysis is therefore largely focused on the democratic violations of Meta, inregard to the GDPR-law as well as the aforementioned theoretical dimensions. Following theanalysis, the discussion seeks to bring forth an expanded view of not only Meta’s obligationsin terms of facilitating democracy, but also their role in society as a whole, in a way toneutralize the otherwise very critical nature of the paper. Lastly, there will be presented anevaluation of the paper, as a way of wrapping up the concluded findings, as well as severalreflectional thoughts regarding the choice of selected theoretical and methodologicaldimensions as a basis for the paper
