Dataset consists of three sheets. Insect visits data is the main data with insect visitors per visitor group, and their reproductive organ contacts during each visit. Seed data is the data of count seeds of the study plants. Visitation rate is the data on the number of visits per flower per hour by different visitor groups.

This dataset contains raw data points of (1) phage-bacterium co-evolution experiment (flavobacterium columnare colony counts, phage counts, bacterial growth characteristics and number of CRISPR-Cas spacers) and (2) from competition experiment between Flavobacterium columnare and Aeromonas sp. For detailed method description, see the attached Documentation file.

This dataset includes four files of DNA sequence baits targeted to ultra-conserved elements (UCEs) identified from four different taxonomic groups of marine invertebrates: Annelida, Bivalvia, Gastropoda and Crustacea. UCE loci are genomic regions of high conservation that can be found throughout the genomes that can be extracted from the genome and sequenced for use in phylogenetic, phylogeographic and population genetic analyses. The UCE loci were located by aligning a minimum of five species’ genomes to a base genome in each taxonomic group and searching for overlapping highly conserved areas. The UCE baits were designed with screening coverage of 4X using the pipeline phyluce v. 1.6.6 (https://github.com/faircloth-lab/phyluce; Faircloth 2015). The analysis generated 3316 baits for 590 conserved loci in annelids, 4110 baits for 519 loci in bivalves, 25547 baits for 4367 loci in gastropods and 27545 baits for 3755 conserved loci in crustaceans. A final set of 3000 baits per taxonomic group (12000 baits in total) was created by Arbor Biosciences (Ann Arbor, MI, USA, arborbiosci.com) using their myBaits probe design support. For more detailed documentation, see the downloadable dataset description file.

The data file contains original data from burbot (Lota lota), captured from two sampling depths, littoral and profundal, in Lake Konnevesi during the breeding season of the fish in 2019-2020. The other variables indicate total body length of the fish (mm), gender, and abundance of 9 metazoan parasite taxa observed in the fish. Column F indicates the mean coverage of cataracts caused by Diplostomum parasites found in the eye lenses (column E).

The HERIDI project (EU Heritage Diplomacy and the Dynamics of Inter-Heritage Dialogue) opens new horizons in the research of new diplomacy by investigating a gap in current research: the uses of heritage in EU foreign policy and international cultural relations. The project explores these uses as EU heritage diplomacy. HERIDI scrutinizes EU heritage diplomacy simultaneously as it is being developed and implemented by various actors in EU member states and external countries. This data set focuses on the project's Work Package 2 (concept analysis of policy documentation). The data set includes documents authored by EU institutions: the European External Action Service, the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union, the European Economic and Social Committee, and the European Committee of Regions. The documents were found from the European Union's database EUR-Lex and ordered into thematic files based on their author and/or search terms: “cultur*”, “heritage”, “diplomat*”, “diplomacy”, "intercultural dialogue", "cultural institute", and "EUNIC". The data collection was conducted between 27 October and 16 November 2020. The data include 224 documents.

This dataset is part of a publication (Differentiating Perceived Usability from Aesthetics in Visual Experience – Validation of a Perceived Visual Usability Measurement). Data concerning confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) utilised in the measurement validation is freely available. Data for the CFA was collected via Prolific, an online survey platform. Thirty-three different surveys were created with the Webropol survey tool, all with different stimulus. Participants (N = 330) answered to the 33 surveys (161 female, 163 male, age range = 18-53, M = 25.8, SD = 7.0). The CFA dataset contains variables of Participant id, Stimulus, Age, Gender, Country, Native-English, and survey scales comprised of the PVU items (VCL1, VCL2, VCL3-REV, VCL4, VCL5, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, CCO1, CCO2-REV, CCO3-REV, CCO4-REV, CCO5, CCO6) and three previously validated scales from the AttracDiff2 (Hedonic Quality – Stimulation: HQS1, HQS2, HQS3, HQS4, HQS5, HQS6, HQS7), classical and expressive aesthetics (Expressive Aesthetics: EAE1, EAE2, EAE3, EAE4, EAE5), and Visual Aesthetics for Website Inventory (VisAWI, Diversity: DIV1, DIV2, DIV3-REV, DIV4, DIV5-REV) questionnaires.
