    Bakalaureusetöö Kalanduse ja vesiviljeluse õppekaval Varasemate uurimustööde põhjal on tehtud kindlaks, et Soome lahest püütud meriforellidel esineb paeluss Eubothrium crassum ja proliferatiivse neeruhaiguse (PKD) haigustekitaja Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae. Kuna tänaseni on E. crassum’i ja T. bryosalmonae esinemist uuritud vaid Põhja-Eesti rannikumerest püütud meriforellidel, peeti oluliseks laiendada valimit geograafiliselt ehk kaasata Lääne-Eesti suuremad saared. Käesoleva töö eesmärgiks on välja selgitada paelussi E. crassum ja PKD haigustekitaja T. bryosalmonae esinemine Hiiumaa ja Saaremaa rannikumerest püütud täiskasvanud meriforellidel ning hinnata nende mõju kala üldisele konditsioonile. Samuti selgitati välja meriforellide vanuseline koosseis ning selle võimalikud seosed parasiitide esinemisega. Uurimismaterjali (29 kala) aitasid koguda kutselised kalurid vahemikus 2019. november kuni 2021. september. Kaladelt proovide kogumine viidi läbi Eesti Maaülikooli VLI vesiviljeluse osakonna laboratooriumis. Proovide analüüsimisel selgus, et pea 90% kaladest olid tabandunud E. crassum parasiidiga ja ainult kahel isendil esines PKD haigustekitaja T. bryosalmonae. Kõige enam leiti kala soolestikust 73 paelussi, mis ei omanud mõju kala üldisele konditsioonile. Kalade massi ja paelusside arvu vahel olulist seost ei leitud, küll aga esines kala tüsedusindeksi ja paelusside arvu vahel statistiliselt oluline nõrk positiivne seos. Sooleparasiite esines emastel meriforellidel oluliselt rohkem kui isastel. E. crassum’i arvukus oli oluliselt kõrgem Saaremaa lõunarannikult (st Liivi lahest) püütud kaladel. Uuritud kalade keskmiseks vanuseks loeti 3 täisaastat, kala vanuse ja parasiitide arvukuse vahel seos puudus. Edasised uuringud peaksid tegema kindlaks, milline E. crassum’i vorm Eesti rannikuvetes prevalveerib. Based on previous research, it has been determined that the tapeworm Eubothrium crassum and the proliferative kidney disease (PKD) agent Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae are widely present among sea trout caught from the Gulf of Finland. Since the occurrence of E. crassum and T. bryosalmonae has been studied only in sea trout caught from the coast of Northern Estonia, it was considered important to geographically expand the sampling area and include the larger islands of Western Estonia. The purpose of present study is to find out the presence of tapeworm E. crassum and PKD agent T. bryosalmonae in adult sea trout caught from the coast of island Hiiumaa and Saaremaa and to evaluate their effect on the general condition of the fish. The age composition of sea trout and its possible connections with the presence of parasites were also determined. The research material (29 fish) was collected by commercial fishermen between November 2019 and September 2021. The collection of samples from fish was carried out in the laboratory of Chair of Aquaculture, Estonian University of Life Sciences. Analyzing the samples revealed that almost 90% of the fish were infected with the E. crassum parasite, and only two individuals were infeted with T. bryosalmonae, the causative agent of PKD. Maximum of 73 tapeworms were found in the gut of the fish, which did not pose a threat to the general condition of the fish. There was no significant correlation between the weight of the fish and the number of tapeworms, but there was a statistically significant weak positive correlation between the condition factor of the fish and the number of tapeworms. Intestinal parasites occurred in significantly higher numbers in female sea trout than in males. The abundance of E. crassum was significantly higher in fish caught from the southern coast of Saaremaa (the Gulf of Livonia). The average age of the examined fish was considered to be 3 years, there was no correlation between the age of the fish and the number of parasites. Further research should determine which form of E. crassum prevails in Estonian coastal waters.

    Bakalaureusetöö Maamajandusliku ettevõtluse ja finantsjuhtimise õppekaval Põllumajandustootjad on toidu tarneahelas nõrgemas positsioonis, mis toob kaasa olukorra, kus näiteks jaemüüjad, kus konkurents on väiksem, rakendavad nõrgemal positsioonil olevatele tegevusalade ettevõtete suhtes ebaausaid kaubandustavasid. Selle tagajärjel tekib põllumajandustootjate tegevusala ettevõtetel suur majanduslik kahju. Käesoleva bakalaureusetöö eesmärk oli (läbi finantsilise võimekuse analüüsi) selgitada välja, kuidas erineb finantsiline tulemuslikkus põllumajanduse ja toidu tarneahela tegevusalade erinevate tasemete ettevõtetes perioodil 2005–2021. Uuringus kasutatud andmed saadi Statistikaameti andmebaasi tabelist EM001. Andmetabelist saadud finantsandmete põhjal viidi läbi finantsanalüüs, kasutades selleks suhtarve. Selgus, et finantsiliselt kõige tulemuslikum on põllumajandustootmise tegevusala ettevõtted, sest hinnatud suhtarvude keskmised tulemused moodustasid kõrgeimad väärtused. Kõige väiksema finantsilise tulemuslikuga tegevusala ettevõtted on põllumajandussaaduste hulgimüüjad. Põllumajandustootjaid mõjutavad majandusest tingitud raskused kõige tugevamalt, sest rentaablusnäitajad kõikusid järsult vastavalt majanduslikele olukordadele. Kõige vähem majanduskeskkonna poolt mõjutatavamad on jaemüüjate tegevusala ettevõtted, kes on valdavalt olnud stabiilsete finantsnäitajatega ajal, mil põllumajandustootjate, põllumajandussaaduste hulgimüüjate, toidu- ja joogitoojate ning toidu ja joogi serveerijate rentaablusnäitajad kõikusid. Teema edasiseks uurimiseks pakkus autor võimaluse analüüsida põllumajanduse ja toidu tarneahela tegevusalade ettevõtete finantstulemuslikkust konkreetse tegevusala ettevõtete tasandil. Farmers are in a weaker position in the agri food supply chain, which leads to a situation where, for example, retailers, as there is less competition, are applying unfair trading practices to the weaker-positioned fields of activities companies. This situation causes a large economic loss for agricultural companies. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to find out, through financial capability, how financial performance differs in companies of different levels between fields of activities in the agri-food supply chain in 2005-2021. The data used in the research is based on Statistics Estonia's database table EM001. Based on the financial data obtained from the data table, a financial analysis was conducted through financial ratio analysis. The results indicates that the most financially profitable companies are farmers because the average results of the evaluated indicators reached the highest values. The companies with the lowest financial performance are wholesalers of agricultural products. It appears that farmers are most vulnerable to economic difficulties, as profitability indicators fluctuated suddenly according to the economic situation. The least affected by the economic environment are companies from the retailers fields of activitiy, which mostly had stable financial indicators at a time when the profitability indicators of farmers, wholesalers of agricultural products, food and beverage producers and food and beverage servers had fluctuated. For further research on this topic, the author of this thesis points out the opportunity to analyze the financial performance of companies in the agri-food supply chain’s fields of activities at enterprise level.

    Rakenduskõrgharidusõppe lõputöö Tehnotroonika õppekaval Tänapäeval kasutatakse tööstuses automatiseeritust, tänu nende täpsusele ja järjepidevusele. Töö eesmärgiks on välja arendada ja valmistada töötav universaalhaarats manuseliimimisrobotile , sest teine haaratsite tootja ei ole paindlik universaalsuse suhtes. Analüüsitakse enimkasutatavaid võimalusi mitme manuse liimimiseks ühe haaratsiga. Võrreldakse nende eeliseid ja puudusi ning luuakse üks võimalikest lahenditest. Haarats valmistati ja juurutati ning on läbinud katsetused ja võetud kasutusse. Eesmärk sai täidetud. In today's industry, automation is widely employed due to its precision and consistency. The aim of this work is to develop and manufacture a functional universal gripper for a manual gluing robot, as the existing gripper manufacturer lacks flexibility in terms of universality. The most used options for gluing multiple attachments with a single gripper are analysed. Their advantages and disadvantages are compared, and one of the possible solutions is created. The gripper is fabricated, implemented, and subjected to testing before being put into operation. Therefore, it can be confidently stated that the objective has been achieved.

    Bakalaureusetöö Tehnika ja Tehnoloogia õppekaval Käesolev lõputöö hõlmab endas Oore küla passiivse optilise juurdepääsuvõrgu rajamist ja 0,4 kv madalpinge rekonstrueerimist, mis on koostatud ja kooskõlastatud Enefit Connect OÜ-ga. (eelnevalt Elektrilevi OÜ) lepingulisest kohustusest välja ehitada kiire interneti ühendus piirkondades, kus teenus puudub või ei ole piisavalt kvaliteetne ning kuhu Eesti sideoperaatorid ei plaani investeerida viie aasta lõikes. Töö eesmärgiks on ära kirjeldada ja analüüsida Oore külas teostatud operaatorineutraalse sidevõrgu ja elektri rekonstrueerimise projekti teostamise protsesse. Kirjeldatakse lahti kasutatavaid sidevõrgu tehnoloogiaid ning taristute ehituse erinevaid etappe. Tuuakse välja elektriprojektiga teostatud parendused ja arvutuslikud ühe faasi liinikaitse lühisvoolud vastava alajaama fiidri lõpus olevale elektri liitumispunktile. Autor tänab käesoleva töö valmimise juures olulist abi pakkunud juhendajat Enefit Connectist Ivo Kiviselg´a ja lisaks Kaido Tuhkur´t. The aim of this Bachelor’s thesis is to describe and analyze the planning and construction process of the operator-neutral communication network and the accompanying lowvoltage electricity reconstruction project carried out in the village of Oore. The improvements made by the electrical project and the calculated single-phase line protection short-circuit currents for the electricity connection points at the end of the feeder of the corresponding substation are highlighted.

    Bakalaureuse töö Loodusturismi õppekaval Töö uurib looduskeskuseid külastavate õpilaste liigitundmist ning teadmiste päritolu 4.-9. klassi õpilaste seas. Eesmärgiks on teada saada, kuidas õpilaste loodusalased teadmised muutuvad vanuse kasvades, missugusest allikast pärinevad teadmised ning milliseid liike tuntakse vähem ja vajaksid rohkem tutvustamist. Teoreetilises osas antakse ülevaade varasematest sarnastest uuringutest ning metoodika aluseks on 2020. aastal valminud Minna Presmanni bakalaureusetöö. Andmeid koguti ankeetküsitluse abil Vapramäe loodusmaja külastanud õpilaste seast, kus oli välja toodud 15 taime- ja 15 loomafotot, kus tuli nimetada täpsed liiginimed ning mõned taustküsimused vastaja kohta. Samuti viidi läbi intervjuu loodusmaja projektijuhiga. Tulemused sarnanesid 2020. aastal läbiviidud uurimusega, millest selgus, et teadmised kasvavad kooliastmete kaupa ja on parimad 3. kooliastme lõpus. Paremad teadmised on neidudel ja neil õpilastel, kelle kool ja kodu asuvad maapiirkonnas. Parimad tulemused liikide tundmises olid õpilastel, kes väitsid oma teadmise allikaks olevat pere ning kõige kesisemad olid neil õpilastel, kes märkisid allikaks looduskeskuseid, kuigi tänu sellele on antud õpilastele lisaõppe võimalus. Edaspidi on võimalik uurida teiste piirkondade looduskeskuseid külastavaid õpilasi, nägemaks kas tulemused sarnanevad piirkonniti, sest antud töös olid küsitletavad pärit pigem Lõuna-Eesti piirkonnast. Samuti tuleks leida uusi lahendusi, kuidas muuta liigiõpe tõhusamaks. The work examines species knowledge of students visiting nature centers and the origin of knowledge among 4th-9th grade students. The aim is to find out how the students’ knowledge of nature changes with age, what source the knowledge comes from and which species are meager and need more study. In the theoretical part, an overview of previous similar studies is provided, and the methodology is based on Minna Presmann’s bachelor’s thesis completed in 2020. Data was collected from the students who visited Vapramäe nature house using a questionnaire, where 15 plant and 15 animal photos were presented and some background questions about the respondent were asked.. An interview was conducted with the project manager of the nature house. The results were similar to a study conducted in 2020, which revealed that the level of knowledge increases by grade and is best at the end of 3th grade, and girls and those students whose school and home are located in rural areas have better knowledge. Family was named as the biggest source of knowledge origin, and nature centers the least, although thanks to this, students have been given the opportunity for additional study. In the future, it will be possible to investigate students who visits nature centers in other regions, to se if the results are similar in each region, because this work wew rather from South Estonian region. Also, new solutions should be found to make species learning more effective.

    Rakenduskırghariduse lõputöö Tehnotroonika õppekaval Istandustes kasutatakse kultuurmarjade nõudluse täitmiseks marjapõõsaste kohtväetamist, et tagada taime kasvuks vajalikud toitained. Käsitsi täppisväetamine on rutiinne ja väsitav töö, mille leevendamiseks kavatsetakse kasutusele võtta Eesti Maaülikooli poolt loodud põldrobot. Töö eesmärgiks on portatiivse kohtväetusseadme prototüübi parendamine ja kohandamine põllurobotile. Ülesanneteks on tutvuda Jaan Pettai poolt loodud portatiivse kohtväetusseadmega, tutvuda põldroboti konseptsiooniga, uurida kohtväetamisel kasutatavate väetiste kohta, modelleerida suurema mahutavusega paakmahuti koos autonoomse täitmisega ning valmistada süsteemi sobiv samm-ajami juhtplaat. Lõputöö raames loodi paakmahuti ja samm-ajami juhtplaadi prototüübid ning modelleeriti Solidworks keskkonnas luugisüsteem. Edaspidi on vajalik 3D printida modelleeritud luugisüsteemi osad ning testida nende töökindlust, autonoomse täitmise lahenduse kalibreerimine ja katsetamine. In orchards, precise fertilization of berry bushes is utilized to meet the demand for cultivated berries and ensure the necessary nutrients for plant growth. Manual precision fertilization is a routine and tiring task, which is intended to be alleviated by the implementation of a field robot developed by the Estonian University of Life Sciences. The objective of this study is to improve and adapt the portable precision fertilization device prototype for integration into the field robot. The tasks include familiarizing oneself with the portable precision fertilization device developed by Jaan Pettai, understanding the concept of the field robot, exploring the types of fertilizers used in precision fertilization, modeling a larger-capacity tank with autonomous filling, and designing a suitable stepper driver board for the system. As part of the thesis, prototypes of the tank and stepper driver board were created, and a hatch system was modeled using the Solidworks environment. The next steps involve 3D printing the modeled parts of the hatch system and testing their reliability, calibrating and testing the autonomous filling solution.

    Bakalaureuse töö Metsanduse õppekaval Eestis on rajatud palju kuivendussüsteeme, et parandada liigniiskete metsamaade puistute tootlikkust. Kahjuks amortiseeruvad need süsteemid aja jooksul ning kuivenduskraavid, mis ei ole hooldatud ega rekonstrueeritud, ei suuda enam oma ülesannet täita. Töö eesmärgiks on kirjeldada põhjavee taseme dünaamikat vegetatsiooni perioodi jooksul, seal hulgas uurida veetaseme varieeruvust sõltuvalt erinevatest teguritest ning kuivendussüsteemi rekonstrueerimise lühiajalisi mõjusid põhjavee tasemele. Töö jaoks vajalikud andmed on kogutud 2021. ja 2022. aasta kasvuperioodidel välitööde käigus. Proovialad valiti kuivendatud ja kuivendamata puistute seas. Kuivendatud alale oli planeeritud kuivendussüsteemi rekonstrueerimine. 2021. aastal koguti enne rekonstrueerimist andmeid, et võrrelda neid rekonstrueerimisjärgse perioodiga ehk aastaga 2022. Proovialadel toimus 14 kordusmõõtmist, iga kordusmõõtmise vahe oli 10 päeva. Aladel tehti ringproovitükke ja mõõdeti turbahorisondi paksus. Töös uuriti põhjavee taseme muutust enne ja pärast kuivendussüsteemide rekonstrueerimist. Tulemustest saab järeldada, et rekonstrueerimine kuivendatud aladel avaldas mõju. Keskmiselt langes põhjavee tase 10 cm. Tuginedes Soomes ja Rootsis tehtud uuringutele, on leitud samasugune seos. Tulemustest on võimalik järeldada, et põhjavee tase on seotud õhutemperatuuri ja sademete hulgaga. Kuivendatud aladel oli statistiliselt oluline vaid sademed, aga kuivendamata aladel olid olulised sademed ja temperatuur. Antud tööd võiks edasi arendada, et uurida ka puude radiaalse juurdekasvu antud proovialal ning kuidas põhjavee tase ja ilmastikuolud seda mõjutavad. Varasemates töödes on mainitud parimaks kuivenduskraavide rekonstrueerimise ajaks 25-30 aastat pärast kuivenduskraavi rajamist, sest vanad kraavid amortiseeruvad ning puidu juurdekasv väheneb. Metsamajandamise seisukohalt on kuivendusel positiivne mõju. Põhjavee tase langeb, paraneb puude kasv. Negatiivseteks mõjudeks oleks kasvuhoonegaaside emiteerumine ning veereostus. In Estonia, many drainage systems have been set up to improve the productivity of stands in forested areas that are too wet. Unfortunately, these systems amortize over time and drainage ditches that are not maintained and reconstructed can no longer fulfil their function. The aim of this work is to describe the dynamics of groundwater levels during the vegetation period, including the variability of water levels depending on different factors and the short-term effects of drainage system reconstruction on groundwater levels. The data required for this work have been collected during fieldwork in the growing seasons of 2021 and 2022. Sample plots were selected among drained and undrained stands. A reconstruction of the drainage system was planned for the drained area. In 2021, data were collected prior to the reconstruction in order to be compared with the post-reconstruction period, i.e. 2022. 14 remeasurements were taken in the sample areas, each remeasurement 10 days apart. The areas were circularly sampled and the thickness of the peat horizon was measured. The study investigated groundwater level changes before and after the reconstruction of drainage systems. From the results it can be concluded that the reconstruction of the drained areas had an impact. On average, groundwater levels decreased by 10 cm. Based on studies in Finland and Sweden, a similar relationship has been found. From the results it can be concluded that groundwater levels are related to air temperature and precipitation. Only precipitation was statistically significant in drained areas, while in undrained areas precipitation and temperature were significant. This work could be further developed to investigate also the radial increment of trees in a given sample area and how this is influenced by groundwater level and climatic conditions. Previous work has indicated that the best time to reconstruct drainage ditches is 25-30 years after the drainage ditch is constructed, as old ditches become obsolete and tree growth declines. Drainage has a positive impact on forest management. Groundwater levels will be lowered and tree growth will improve. Negative effects would be greenhouse gas emissions and water pollution.

    Bakalaureusetöö Loodusturismi õppekaval Koroonaviirushaigus (COVID-19) sai alguse 2019. aastal Hiina Rahvavabariigist ja levis seejärel üle maailma ning klassifitseeriti 2020. aastal pandeemiaks. Kehtestatud piirangud on sundinud kõiki asutusi ajutiselt uksi sulgema ja otsima uusi lahendusi oma teenuste osutamiseks pandeemia ajal. Selle uuringu eesmärk oli uurida COVID-19 mõju Eestis tegutsevatele loodusmuuseumidele, botaanikaaedadele ja loomaaedadele ning välja selgitada, millised probleemid sel perioodil esinesid ja kuidas need lahendati. Andmed koguti 5 Eesti asutusega silmast-silma intervjuude teel. Intervjuu sisaldas 15 võtmeküsimust. Selguse huvides saadeti hiljem postiga küsimused statistika kohta. Tulemused näitavad, et Eesti loodusmuuseumid, botaanikaaiad ja loomaaed ei olnud COVID-19 pandeemiast mõjutanud nii palju kui sarnased asutused teistes riikides. Finantsseisu halvendasid aga asutuste sulgemine ja külastajate arvu vähenemine. Selle tulemusena hakkasid kõik asutused oma tööd ümber korraldama ja veebiteenuseid looma. Pärast sulgemisperioodi on külastajate arv kasvanud, kuid 2022. aastaks on pandeemiaeelse tulemuseni jõudnud vaid Tallinna botaanikaaed. Selle uuringu tulemused võivad olla kasulikud COVID-19 mõju hindamisel ja tulevasteks pandeemiateks valmistumisel, et ennetada võimalikke probleeme. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) originated in the People's Republic of China in 2019 and subsequently spread worldwide and was classified as a pandemic in 2020. The restrictions imposed have forced all institutions to temporarily close and look for new solutions for conducting their services during the pandemic. This research was aimed at studying the impact of COVID-19 on museums of natural history, botanical gardens and zoos, and to find out what problems there were during this period and how they were solved. The data was collected through face-to-face interviews with 5 institutions in Estonia. The interview contained 15 key questions. For clarification, questions about the statistics were later sent by mail. The results show that museums of natural history, botanical gardens and zoo in Estonia were not affected as much as in other countries. However, the closure of establishments and a decrease in the number of visitors worsened the financial situation. As a result, all institutions began to restructure their work and create web services. After lockdown, the number of visitors increases, but for 2022, only Tallinn Botanic Garden has reached the same result as before the pandemic. The results of this research may be useful in assessing the impact of COVID-19 and in preparing for future pandemics in order to anticipate possible problems.

    Bakalaureustöö Maamajandusliku ettevõtluse ja finantsjuhtimise õppekaval The Good Food Institute 2020 aasta raporti kohaselt kasvas alternatiivsete proteiinide tööstus 3,1 miljardi dollarini. See on kolm korda suurem kasvamine kui igal teisel aastal selle tööstuse ajaloos. Taimsete burgerite populaarsus kasvas aastal 2021 28% võrreldes aastaga 2020. Võib järeldada, et taimsete lihaalternatiivtoodete populaarsus on kasvavas trendis. Taimseid alternatiivtooteid reklaamitakse kui loodussõbralike alternatiive, paljud inimesed on aga nende toodete loodussõbralikkuses skeptilised. Töö eesmärk on välja uurida, kas taimsed alternatiivtooted on loodussõbralikumad ja mis faktorid muudavad toote tarbijate jaoks enam atraktiivsemaks ehk mis on tarbijate jaoks kõige tähtsamad omadused. Töös on kasutatud erinevate varem tehtud teadustööde informatsiooni ja viidi läbi avalik küsitlus, kus tarbijad said oma seisukohti ja emotsioone välja tuua seoses taimsete proteiini alternatiivtoodetega. Töö tulemuseks saadi, et taimsete alternatiivtoodete tootmine on tunduvalt loodussõbralikum kui liha tootmine. Samuti sai teada tarbijate ostukäitumise kohta seda, et paljude jaoks pole toodete loodussõbralikus üldse tähtis, tähtsaks peetakse hoopis hinda ja maitset. Töö teoreetilises osas on välja toodud varasemate uurimistööde seisukohti, milles leiti ka, et taimseid tooteid on tunduvalt loodussõbralikum toota. Tarbijate ostukäitumise teemat annab veel palju edasi uurida, sest tarbijad teevad oma ostud sõltudes erinevatest faktoritest. According to a 2020 report by The Good Food Institute, the alternative protein industry grew to 3.1 billion dollars. This is three times the growth of any other year in the industry’s history). The popularity of plant-based burgers increased 28% in 2021 compared to 2020. It can be concluded that the popularity of plant-based meat alternative products is on the rise. Plant-based meat alternatives are advertised as eco-friendly alternatives, but many people are skeptical about the eco-friendliness of these products. The aim of this study is to find out whether plant based alternative products are more environmentally friendly and which factors make products most attractive for consumers and what are the most important properties for consumers. The work uses information from various previous research papers and from a public survey, which was conducted so ordinary people could let their views and emotions be known regarding alternative plant-based products. The result of the work was that the production of plant based alternative products is much more environmentally friendly than the production of meat. Also, for a lot of consumers the most important feature of a product is its price and taste, not how environmentally friendly it is. The theoretical part of the work came to a similar conclusion as the previous works, where it was also found that it is much more environmentally friendly to produce plant-based products. There is also much more research to be done on consumer behaviour, because all people make their purchases depending on different factors.

    Bakalaureusetöö Tehnika ja tehnoloogia õppekaval Antud bakalaureusetöö eesmärgiks on valmistada vesioina õppevahend ja seda katsetada, lisaks koostada laboratoorsete tööde juhendid. Töö teoreetilises osas on kirjeldatud hüdroenergia kasutusalasid ja sellega seonduvaid direktiive, hüdropumpade ajalugu, näited ning vesioina ajalugu, tööpõhimõtet ja omadusi. Praktilises osas on kirjeldatakse õppevahendi valmistamise protsessi ja kasutatud töövahendeid. Katselises osas on kajastatud mõõtetulemused ning nendele tuginevad arvutused ja analüüs. Õppevahend paigaldati Tehnikamaja katlalabori juurde. Arvutuslikus osas selgusid valmistatud vesioina kaudne kasutegur, pumpamise võimsus ja pumbatava vee suhe süsteemi sisse voolava veega. Süsteemi on võimalik muuta tõhusamaks, mille tulemusena seadme parameetrid paranevad. Koostatud laboratoorsete tööde juhendeid on võimalik tulevikus kasutada hüdraulikaga seotud õppeainete laborites. Vesioina puhul on vaja teostada edasisi katseid, et kinnistada selle toimimise põhimõtteid. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to assemble a hydraulic ram as an educative device and test it, in addition instructions for laboratory are prepared. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the areas of use of hydropower and realted directives, the history of hydraulic pumps, its examples and the history of the hydraulic ram, working principle and characteristics are described. The practical part describes the process of making the educative device and the tools used in the process. In the experimental part, the measurement results, the calculations and analysis based on them are reported. The educative device was installed near the Institute of Technology (Tehnikamaja) boiler laboratory room. In the calculation part of the thesis, the indirect efficiency of the assembled hydraulic pump, the pumping power and the ratio of the pumped water to the water flowing into the system were revealed. It is possible to make the system more efficient, as a result of which the parameters of the device are improved. The prepared laboratory instructions can be used in the laboratories of hydraulics-related subjects in the future. Further experiments are needed for the hydraulic ram to confirm the principles of its operation.

    Bakalaureusetöö Kalanduse ja vesiviljeluse õppekaval Varasemate uurimustööde põhjal on tehtud kindlaks, et Soome lahest püütud meriforellidel esineb paeluss Eubothrium crassum ja proliferatiivse neeruhaiguse (PKD) haigustekitaja Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae. Kuna tänaseni on E. crassum’i ja T. bryosalmonae esinemist uuritud vaid Põhja-Eesti rannikumerest püütud meriforellidel, peeti oluliseks laiendada valimit geograafiliselt ehk kaasata Lääne-Eesti suuremad saared. Käesoleva töö eesmärgiks on välja selgitada paelussi E. crassum ja PKD haigustekitaja T. bryosalmonae esinemine Hiiumaa ja Saaremaa rannikumerest püütud täiskasvanud meriforellidel ning hinnata nende mõju kala üldisele konditsioonile. Samuti selgitati välja meriforellide vanuseline koosseis ning selle võimalikud seosed parasiitide esinemisega. Uurimismaterjali (29 kala) aitasid koguda kutselised kalurid vahemikus 2019. november kuni 2021. september. Kaladelt proovide kogumine viidi läbi Eesti Maaülikooli VLI vesiviljeluse osakonna laboratooriumis. Proovide analüüsimisel selgus, et pea 90% kaladest olid tabandunud E. crassum parasiidiga ja ainult kahel isendil esines PKD haigustekitaja T. bryosalmonae. Kõige enam leiti kala soolestikust 73 paelussi, mis ei omanud mõju kala üldisele konditsioonile. Kalade massi ja paelusside arvu vahel olulist seost ei leitud, küll aga esines kala tüsedusindeksi ja paelusside arvu vahel statistiliselt oluline nõrk positiivne seos. Sooleparasiite esines emastel meriforellidel oluliselt rohkem kui isastel. E. crassum’i arvukus oli oluliselt kõrgem Saaremaa lõunarannikult (st Liivi lahest) püütud kaladel. Uuritud kalade keskmiseks vanuseks loeti 3 täisaastat, kala vanuse ja parasiitide arvukuse vahel seos puudus. Edasised uuringud peaksid tegema kindlaks, milline E. crassum’i vorm Eesti rannikuvetes prevalveerib. Based on previous research, it has been determined that the tapeworm Eubothrium crassum and the proliferative kidney disease (PKD) agent Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae are widely present among sea trout caught from the Gulf of Finland. Since the occurrence of E. crassum and T. bryosalmonae has been studied only in sea trout caught from the coast of Northern Estonia, it was considered important to geographically expand the sampling area and include the larger islands of Western Estonia. The purpose of present study is to find out the presence of tapeworm E. crassum and PKD agent T. bryosalmonae in adult sea trout caught from the coast of island Hiiumaa and Saaremaa and to evaluate their effect on the general condition of the fish. The age composition of sea trout and its possible connections with the presence of parasites were also determined. The research material (29 fish) was collected by commercial fishermen between November 2019 and September 2021. The collection of samples from fish was carried out in the laboratory of Chair of Aquaculture, Estonian University of Life Sciences. Analyzing the samples revealed that almost 90% of the fish were infected with the E. crassum parasite, and only two individuals were infeted with T. bryosalmonae, the causative agent of PKD. Maximum of 73 tapeworms were found in the gut of the fish, which did not pose a threat to the general condition of the fish. There was no significant correlation between the weight of the fish and the number of tapeworms, but there was a statistically significant weak positive correlation between the condition factor of the fish and the number of tapeworms. Intestinal parasites occurred in significantly higher numbers in female sea trout than in males. The abundance of E. crassum was significantly higher in fish caught from the southern coast of Saaremaa (the Gulf of Livonia). The average age of the examined fish was considered to be 3 years, there was no correlation between the age of the fish and the number of parasites. Further research should determine which form of E. crassum prevails in Estonian coastal waters.

    Bakalaureusetöö Maamajandusliku ettevõtluse ja finantsjuhtimise õppekaval Põllumajandustootjad on toidu tarneahelas nõrgemas positsioonis, mis toob kaasa olukorra, kus näiteks jaemüüjad, kus konkurents on väiksem, rakendavad nõrgemal positsioonil olevatele tegevusalade ettevõtete suhtes ebaausaid kaubandustavasid. Selle tagajärjel tekib põllumajandustootjate tegevusala ettevõtetel suur majanduslik kahju. Käesoleva bakalaureusetöö eesmärk oli (läbi finantsilise võimekuse analüüsi) selgitada välja, kuidas erineb finantsiline tulemuslikkus põllumajanduse ja toidu tarneahela tegevusalade erinevate tasemete ettevõtetes perioodil 2005–2021. Uuringus kasutatud andmed saadi Statistikaameti andmebaasi tabelist EM001. Andmetabelist saadud finantsandmete põhjal viidi läbi finantsanalüüs, kasutades selleks suhtarve. Selgus, et finantsiliselt kõige tulemuslikum on põllumajandustootmise tegevusala ettevõtted, sest hinnatud suhtarvude keskmised tulemused moodustasid kõrgeimad väärtused. Kõige väiksema finantsilise tulemuslikuga tegevusala ettevõtted on põllumajandussaaduste hulgimüüjad. Põllumajandustootjaid mõjutavad majandusest tingitud raskused kõige tugevamalt, sest rentaablusnäitajad kõikusid järsult vastavalt majanduslikele olukordadele. Kõige vähem majanduskeskkonna poolt mõjutatavamad on jaemüüjate tegevusala ettevõtted, kes on valdavalt olnud stabiilsete finantsnäitajatega ajal, mil põllumajandustootjate, põllumajandussaaduste hulgimüüjate, toidu- ja joogitoojate ning toidu ja joogi serveerijate rentaablusnäitajad kõikusid. Teema edasiseks uurimiseks pakkus autor võimaluse analüüsida põllumajanduse ja toidu tarneahela tegevusalade ettevõtete finantstulemuslikkust konkreetse tegevusala ettevõtete tasandil. Farmers are in a weaker position in the agri food supply chain, which leads to a situation where, for example, retailers, as there is less competition, are applying unfair trading practices to the weaker-positioned fields of activities companies. This situation causes a large economic loss for agricultural companies. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to find out, through financial capability, how financial performance differs in companies of different levels between fields of activities in the agri-food supply chain in 2005-2021. The data used in the research is based on Statistics Estonia's database table EM001. Based on the financial data obtained from the data table, a financial analysis was conducted through financial ratio analysis. The results indicates that the most financially profitable companies are farmers because the average results of the evaluated indicators reached the highest values. The companies with the lowest financial performance are wholesalers of agricultural products. It appears that farmers are most vulnerable to economic difficulties, as profitability indicators fluctuated suddenly according to the economic situation. The least affected by the economic environment are companies from the retailers fields of activitiy, which mostly had stable financial indicators at a time when the profitability indicators of farmers, wholesalers of agricultural products, food and beverage producers and food and beverage servers had fluctuated. For further research on this topic, the author of this thesis points out the opportunity to analyze the financial performance of companies in the agri-food supply chain’s fields of activities at enterprise level.

    Rakenduskõrgharidusõppe lõputöö Tehnotroonika õppekaval Tänapäeval kasutatakse tööstuses automatiseeritust, tänu nende täpsusele ja järjepidevusele. Töö eesmärgiks on välja arendada ja valmistada töötav universaalhaarats manuseliimimisrobotile , sest teine haaratsite tootja ei ole paindlik universaalsuse suhtes. Analüüsitakse enimkasutatavaid võimalusi mitme manuse liimimiseks ühe haaratsiga. Võrreldakse nende eeliseid ja puudusi ning luuakse üks võimalikest lahenditest. Haarats valmistati ja juurutati ning on läbinud katsetused ja võetud kasutusse. Eesmärk sai täidetud. In today's industry, automation is widely employed due to its precision and consistency. The aim of this work is to develop and manufacture a functional universal gripper for a manual gluing robot, as the existing gripper manufacturer lacks flexibility in terms of universality. The most used options for gluing multiple attachments with a single gripper are analysed. Their advantages and disadvantages are compared, and one of the possible solutions is created. The gripper is fabricated, implemented, and subjected to testing before being put into operation. Therefore, it can be confidently stated that the objective has been achieved.

    Bakalaureusetöö Tehnika ja Tehnoloogia õppekaval Käesolev lõputöö hõlmab endas Oore küla passiivse optilise juurdepääsuvõrgu rajamist ja 0,4 kv madalpinge rekonstrueerimist, mis on koostatud ja kooskõlastatud Enefit Connect OÜ-ga. (eelnevalt Elektrilevi OÜ) lepingulisest kohustusest välja ehitada kiire interneti ühendus piirkondades, kus teenus puudub või ei ole piisavalt kvaliteetne ning kuhu Eesti sideoperaatorid ei plaani investeerida viie aasta lõikes. Töö eesmärgiks on ära kirjeldada ja analüüsida Oore külas teostatud operaatorineutraalse sidevõrgu ja elektri rekonstrueerimise projekti teostamise protsesse. Kirjeldatakse lahti kasutatavaid sidevõrgu tehnoloogiaid ning taristute ehituse erinevaid etappe. Tuuakse välja elektriprojektiga teostatud parendused ja arvutuslikud ühe faasi liinikaitse lühisvoolud vastava alajaama fiidri lõpus olevale elektri liitumispunktile. Autor tänab käesoleva töö valmimise juures olulist abi pakkunud juhendajat Enefit Connectist Ivo Kiviselg´a ja lisaks Kaido Tuhkur´t. The aim of this Bachelor’s thesis is to describe and analyze the planning and construction process of the operator-neutral communication network and the accompanying lowvoltage electricity reconstruction project carried out in the village of Oore. The improvements made by the electrical project and the calculated single-phase line protection short-circuit currents for the electricity connection points at the end of the feeder of the corresponding substation are highlighted.

    Bakalaureuse töö Loodusturismi õppekaval Töö uurib looduskeskuseid külastavate õpilaste liigitundmist ning teadmiste päritolu 4.-9. klassi õpilaste seas. Eesmärgiks on teada saada, kuidas õpilaste loodusalased teadmised muutuvad vanuse kasvades, missugusest allikast pärinevad teadmised ning milliseid liike tuntakse vähem ja vajaksid rohkem tutvustamist. Teoreetilises osas antakse ülevaade varasematest sarnastest uuringutest ning metoodika aluseks on 2020. aastal valminud Minna Presmanni bakalaureusetöö. Andmeid koguti ankeetküsitluse abil Vapramäe loodusmaja külastanud õpilaste seast, kus oli välja toodud 15 taime- ja 15 loomafotot, kus tuli nimetada täpsed liiginimed ning mõned taustküsimused vastaja kohta. Samuti viidi läbi intervjuu loodusmaja projektijuhiga. Tulemused sarnanesid 2020. aastal läbiviidud uurimusega, millest selgus, et teadmised kasvavad kooliastmete kaupa ja on parimad 3. kooliastme lõpus. Paremad teadmised on neidudel ja neil õpilastel, kelle kool ja kodu asuvad maapiirkonnas. Parimad tulemused liikide tundmises olid õpilastel, kes väitsid oma teadmise allikaks olevat pere ning kõige kesisemad olid neil õpilastel, kes märkisid allikaks looduskeskuseid, kuigi tänu sellele on antud õpilastele lisaõppe võimalus. Edaspidi on võimalik uurida teiste piirkondade looduskeskuseid külastavaid õpilasi, nägemaks kas tulemused sarnanevad piirkonniti, sest antud töös olid küsitletavad pärit pigem Lõuna-Eesti piirkonnast. Samuti tuleks leida uusi lahendusi, kuidas muuta liigiõpe tõhusamaks. The work examines species knowledge of students visiting nature centers and the origin of knowledge among 4th-9th grade students. The aim is to find out how the students’ knowledge of nature changes with age, what source the knowledge comes from and which species are meager and need more study. In the theoretical part, an overview of previous similar studies is provided, and the methodology is based on Minna Presmann’s bachelor’s thesis completed in 2020. Data was collected from the students who visited Vapramäe nature house using a questionnaire, where 15 plant and 15 animal photos were presented and some background questions about the respondent were asked.. An interview was conducted with the project manager of the nature house. The results were similar to a study conducted in 2020, which revealed that the level of knowledge increases by grade and is best at the end of 3th grade, and girls and those students whose school and home are located in rural areas have better knowledge. Family was named as the biggest source of knowledge origin, and nature centers the least, although thanks to this, students have been given the opportunity for additional study. In the future, it will be possible to investigate students who visits nature centers in other regions, to se if the results are similar in each region, because this work wew rather from South Estonian region. Also, new solutions should be found to make species learning more effective.

    Rakenduskırghariduse lõputöö Tehnotroonika õppekaval Istandustes kasutatakse kultuurmarjade nõudluse täitmiseks marjapõõsaste kohtväetamist, et tagada taime kasvuks vajalikud toitained. Käsitsi täppisväetamine on rutiinne ja väsitav töö, mille leevendamiseks kavatsetakse kasutusele võtta Eesti Maaülikooli poolt loodud põldrobot. Töö eesmärgiks on portatiivse kohtväetusseadme prototüübi parendamine ja kohandamine põllurobotile. Ülesanneteks on tutvuda Jaan Pettai poolt loodud portatiivse kohtväetusseadmega, tutvuda põldroboti konseptsiooniga, uurida kohtväetamisel kasutatavate väetiste kohta, modelleerida suurema mahutavusega paakmahuti koos autonoomse täitmisega ning valmistada süsteemi sobiv samm-ajami juhtplaat. Lõputöö raames loodi paakmahuti ja samm-ajami juhtplaadi prototüübid ning modelleeriti Solidworks keskkonnas luugisüsteem. Edaspidi on vajalik 3D printida modelleeritud luugisüsteemi osad ning testida nende töökindlust, autonoomse täitmise lahenduse kalibreerimine ja katsetamine. In orchards, precise fertilization of berry bushes is utilized to meet the demand for cultivated berries and ensure the necessary nutrients for plant growth. Manual precision fertilization is a routine and tiring task, which is intended to be alleviated by the implementation of a field robot developed by the Estonian University of Life Sciences. The objective of this study is to improve and adapt the portable precision fertilization device prototype for integration into the field robot. The tasks include familiarizing oneself with the portable precision fertilization device developed by Jaan Pettai, understanding the concept of the field robot, exploring the types of fertilizers used in precision fertilization, modeling a larger-capacity tank with autonomous filling, and designing a suitable stepper driver board for the system. As part of the thesis, prototypes of the tank and stepper driver board were created, and a hatch system was modeled using the Solidworks environment. The next steps involve 3D printing the modeled parts of the hatch system and testing their reliability, calibrating and testing the autonomous filling solution.
