Phoebe Apperson Hearst měla velmi úspěšného vlastního syna Williama, který byl ale více jako jeho otec: tvrdý obchodník. Našla však jemnou, uměleckou duši v malíři Orrinu Peckovi (1860–1921), který byl údajně gay a který ji, ještě za života své vlastní matky, začal oslovovat „má druhá mámo.“ Na základě podrobného výzkumu jejich vzájemné korespondence v Peckově pozůstalosti se můžeme ptát, jak moc si byla progresivní, bohatá žena 19. století, jakou byla Phoebe Hearst, vědoma Peckovy sexuality a pokud ano, jestli s tím neměla problém, nebo šlo o nevyřčené tajemství mezi nimi? Jejich příběh představí historik umění Ladislav Zikmund-Lender. Phoebe Apperson Hearst had a very successful son of William, but he was more like his father: a tough businessman. However, she found a delicate, artistic soul in the painter Orrin Peck (1860–1921), who was allegedly gay and who, while still his own mother's life, began to address her as “my second mother.” Based on a detailed study of their correspondence in Peck's estate, we may ask how much a progressive, rich 19th-century woman like Phoebe Hearst was aware of Peck's sexuality, and if so, if she had no problem with it, or was it an unspoken secret between them? Their story will be presented by art historian Ladislav Zikmund-Lender.

The bachelor's thesis deals with utilization of compression-ignition engine in army purposes, especially in army vehicles . It aims to motors of military and special vehicles as are armoured vehicles or tanks and gives view of features about motors and exigencies which must fullfils usage in specific conditions. Thesis describes problematics of operating and maintanance CI - engines and negative effects which appear in battle contidionts. It gives notice about curing methods each parts of engine and about systems which supports engine working and classifies exemplifications of differences distinct from ordinary motors, common uses in civil cars. Creates view on problematics of positioning and constructional solution of motor space inside vehicle. It brings basic informations about oil fuels used in army and its requierements. Objective of this thesis is disclosure of information about specific features and standards of motors intended for army purposes. Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím vznětových motorů v armádních využitích, zejména tedy ve vojenských vozidlech. Je zaměřena na motory bojových a speciálních vozidel, jako jsou obrněné transportéry nebo tanky. Podává přehled o vlastnostech těchto motorů a nárocích, kladených při použití ve specifických podmínkách. Charakterizuje problematiku provozu a údržby vznětových motorů a negativních vlivů, jenž jsou při bojových podmínkách vystaveny. Informuje o způsobech ošetřování jednotlivých částí motorů a soustav zajišťujících jeho chod. Uvádí příklady odlišností od běžných motorů, používaných v civilních vozidlech. Vytváří náhled na problematiku umístění motoru a konstrukční řešení celkového uspořádání poháněcí soustavy. Vysvětluje základní pojmy z oblasti paliv používaných armádou a požadavků, které by měly splňovat. Cílem práce je poskytnutí přehledu specifických vlastností a požadavků kladených na vznětové motory. V dnešní době jsou kamery důležitou součástí zabezpečovacích systémů. Jsou na každém rohu a dennodenně zasahují do našich životů. Úkolem mé bakalářské práce bylo seznámit se s tímto kamerovým systémem, popsat jeho části a funkčnost jako celek. Pochopení teoretického základu této problematiky bylo nezbytné pro řešení bakalářské práce a vytvoření laboratorní úlohy. V první části se zaměřuji na historii i popis starších systémů a postupný vývoj k systémům novodobým. Druhá část rozebírá jednotlivé součásti CCTV systému a snaží se pochopit jejich funkčnost. V třetí části jsem vytvořil laboratorní úlohu, která si klade za cíl seznámit studenty s moderními technologiemi a možnostmi použitých v digitálních kamerových systémech CCTV. Nowadays the cameras are an important part of security systems. They are everywhere and affect our lives every day. The task of my bachelor thesis was to learn about this camera system, describe its parts and function as a whole. Understanding the theoretical basics of this issue is crucial for solution of bachelor thesis and the laboratory task. In the first part I focuse on the history and description of older systems and the gradual evolution to the modern ones. The second part analyzes the different components of a CCTV system and try to understand their functionality. In the third part i create laboratory task that aims to teach students about the modern technologies and options used in digital camera systems CCTV. B

The aim of this thesis is to create compact device which allows remote management of low-level devices of public transport information system. The thesis first deals introduction to the issues of the information system as a whole and its requisites. After that the thesis analysis the hardware of the existing board computer which the design was based. The next points od this thesis are focused to design and create software for upgrade firmware of information panels created by BUSE company and also for design and create system for remote managment. The conclusion summarizes obtained information and the results achieved. Cílem práce je vytvoření kompaktní jednotky pro možnost vzdálené správy nízkoúrovňových zařízení informačního systému vozidel hromadné dopravy. Práce se nejprve zabývá úvodem do problematiky informačních systémů jako celku a jeho náležitostem. Následně se práce zabývá analýzou stávajícího hardwaru palubního počítače firmy BUSE ze, kterého návrh vycházel. Další body práce jsou věnovány návrhu a realizaci softwaru pro nahrávání firmwaru do informačních panelů BUSE a také pro tvorbu dálkové správy. This master's thesis deals with a system for PC mass management and monitoring. There is a brief description of Puppet, Chef and Ansible, which are tools enabling this functionality. The overall system issues are solved by Ansible. This thesis also includes a script created for a classroom’s remote management according to a beforehand fixed assignment. The system enables remote installation and configuration of applications, creation of users, editing the files, update of the system and many more. A web application was created for this system. Through this application, the system can be controlled via web browser, both from local and public network. Practical examples of the issue dealt with is also part of the thesis. Diplomová práce se zabývá systémem pro hromadnou správu a monitoring PC. Je zde uveden stručný popis nástrojů Puppet, Chef a Ansible, které tuto funkcionalitu umožňují. Celková problematika systému je řešena pomocí nástroje Ansible. Součástí je vytvořený scénář pro vzdálenou správu učebny, podle předem stanoveného zadání. Systém zajišťuje vzdálenou instalaci a konfiguraci aplikací, vytváření uživatelů, editaci souborů, aktualizace systému a mnohé další. Pro tento systém je vytvořena webová aplikace, díky která může být systém ovládán pomocí webového prohlížeče, jak z lokální, tak i veřejné sítě. This bachelor thesis is focused on the employment of EU/EEA citizens and non-citizens and how their income is taxed. The aim of the practical part is to demonstrate the different tax situations in which they can find themselves when employed abroad. Examples of taxation based on income from abroad and Czech Republic are also included for both tax-residents and tax non-residents. Bakalářská práce se zabývá zaměstnáváním cizinců a osob ze států EU/EHP a následným zdaňováním jejich příjmů. Bachelor's thesis analysis the current state of the information system of a selected company. Based on the results of the analysis, suggestions for improvement are presented. The outcome of this thesis is to design a new information system in the form of a web application that will be more suitable to the current needs of the company, particularly with regard to access to the database. Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou stávajícího stavu informačního systému vybrané společnosti. Na základě výsledků této analýzy jsou pak vytvořeny návrhy na zlepšení. This thesis contains theoretical description of solved issue and assessment of current situation in company. Main part of this thesis is to design web presentation, SEO and primarily design information system satisfying needs of company. After completion of this thesis it will be possible to implement designed web presentation and information system. Práce obsahuje teoretické uvedení do řešeného problému a následně zhodnocení stávajícího fungování firmy. The master thesis deals with the development of the tool for risk analysis support in information security. At first we perform a theoretical basis for security development of lifecycle process (SDL). Afterwards the theory of risk analysis based on fault tree analysis is described. Considering this knowledge base system was designed and implemented. Next chapter describes the best practice refer to the typical example of use and presents the potencial using of this tool in practice. Final chapter deals with the possibility of future expansion of this application. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vytvořením nástroje pro analýzu rizik v informační bezpečnosti. Nejprve je nastudován proces vývoje bezpečného softwaru SDL a poté také teorie o analýze rizik pomocí chybových stromů. Na základě těchto znalostí je systém navržen a poté i implementován. Dále je předvedena práce s aplikací na typovém příkladu a popsáno možné využití nástroje v praxi. Na závěr jsou uvedeny možnosti budoucího rozšíření aplikace. C

The main output of the thesis is the exhibition Philosopher of Structures: Architect and Engineer Jaroslav J. Polívka (18861960), which was realized in 2021 at the Faculty of Fine Arts Gallery in Brno and in 2022 at the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery in Prague. The textual part of the work, that accompanies the exhibition, presents the extensive work of Jaroslav Josef Polívka, placing it in the context of the development of global modern architecture and in relation to the working conditions of architects and engineers in the first half of the twentieth century. Following on from the main areas of the exhibition, it elaborates the themes of the places and locations in which Jaroslav Polívka worked and for which he designed, the social networks in which he integrated himself in and of which he was an actor, and the archive, the structure of which played a significant role in his forgetting and rediscovery. The aim of the work is not to manipulate Polívka into the role of a “great architect”, but to present him as a co-creator of a solid building culture in the Czech lands, abroad in Europe and in North America, to show the diversity of building types in which he was able to find opportunities for technical and structural innovations, which he wanted to contribute to the improvement of modern life. The aim of the work is to rehabilitate the structural engineer and architect, to detach the narration of his legacy from other authorities, as it has been a custom in domestic and American historiography (representatives of the Czechoslovak avant-garde, Frank Lloyd Wright) and to indicate a number of non-artistic and non-architectural circumstances that shaped the form of his works. Hlavním výstupem disertační práce je výstava Filozof struktur: Architekt a inženýr Jaroslav J. Polívka (18861960), která byla realizovaná v roce 2021 v Galerii FaVU v Brně a v roce 2022 v Galerii Jaroslava Fragnera v Praze. Textová část, která ji doprovází, práce představuje rozsáhlé dílo Jaroslava Josefa Polívky, zasazuje jej do kontextu vývoje globální moderní architektury i do vztahu k podmínkám práce architekta a inženýra v první polovině dvacátého století. V návaznosti na hlavní okruhy výstavy rozpracovává tematické okruhy míst, v nichž Jaroslav Polívka působil a pro které navrhoval, sociální sítě, do nichž se včlenil a jichž byl aktér, a archiv, jehož struktura hrála významnou roli v jeho zapomenutí i znovuobjevení. Cílem práce není Polívku vmanipulovat do role „velkého architekta“, ale představit ho jako spolutvůrce solidní stavební kultury v českých zemích, v evropském zahraničí i v severní Americe, ukázat rozmanitost stavebních typů, v nichž dokázal najít příležitosti pro technické a konstrukční inovace, jimiž chtěl přispět k zlepšení moderního života. Cílem práce je rehabilitace stavitele a architekta, odpoutání vyprávění jeho odkazu od jiných autorit, jak je tomu doposavad v tuzemské i americké historiografii zvykem (představitelé československé avantgardy, Frank Lloyd Wright) a naznačení řady mimouměleckých a mimoarchitektonických okolností, které utvářely podobu jeho děl.
