30 June 1937 is the birthday of Professor Ladislav Skula, our colleague at the Institute of Mathematics of the BUT Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, a distinguished editorial board member of this journal, and an outstanding Brno mathematician of world renown.

On the 1th – 2nd February 2018 was held the 27th International Scientific Conference of Forensic Engineering (ExFoS 2018) at the Institute of Forensic Engineering, Brno University of Technology (IFE BUT). The conference was organized in co-operation with the AZO ČR. The two-day conference was attended by more than 200 czech and foreign experts. After the joined part was the Conference divided into the three sections, which are traditionally Analysis of road accidents, the valuation of motor vehicles, machinery and equipment, Construction and real estate evaluation, Risk Engineering. Ve dnech 1.–2. února 2018 se v prostorách Ústavu soudního inženýrství vUT v Brně konal již 27. ročník Mezinárodní vědecké konference soudního inženýrství (ExFoS 2018). Konference byla pořádána za podpory ÚSI vUT v Brně a AZO ČR. Dvoudenní konference se zúčastnilo více než 200 tuzemských a zahraničních odborníků. Po úvodní společné části byla konference rozdělena do tří sekcí, kterými jsou již tradičně Analýza silničních nehod, oceňování motorových vozidel, strojů a zařízení, Stavebnictví a oceňování nemovitostí a Rizikové inženýrství.

The article summarizes the author’s correspondence with the Minister of Justice JUDr. Pavel Blažek from the beginning of 2022. V příspěvku je shrnuta korespondence autora s ministrem spravedlnosti JUDr. Pavlem Blažkem ze začátku roku 2022.

V článku jsou uvedeny a komentovány změny oceňování nemovitostí, které přinášejí novela zákona o oceňování majetku a novela prováděcí oceňovací vyhlášky k 1. lednu 2021.
