Nálezy z archeologického výzkumu v Březnici (okr. Tábor) v letech 2005-2009 a 2019. Výzkum provedl O. Chvojka (Archeologický ústav FF JU v Českých Budějovicích). Data zahrnují údaje o keramice a dalších nálezech použitých k depoziční analýze sídlištních objektů mladší doby bronzové, zejména tzv. žlabů. Výsledky analýzy jsou publikovány v Chvojka et al. 2021. Popis databáze je obsažen v přiloženém PDF souboru. Podpořeno Grantovou agenturou ČR (18-10747S). Finds from the archaeological excavations in Březnice (Tábor district, South Bohemia, Czech Republic) in 2005-2009 and 2019. The fieldwork was directed by O. Chvojka (Institute of Archaeology, South Bohemian University in České Budějovice). Data concern the pottery fragments and other finds (daub, loom weights) used for the analysis of deposition processes in the Late Bronze Age settlement features. Based on this material, a model of house biography and the concept of closing rituals were formulated (see Chvojka et al. 2021). These models suggest an interpretation for the so-called trenches, specific sunken features filled with an unusually rich content of secondary-burnt pottery and other finds. Details of the database are given in the attached PDF file. Supported by the Czech Sceince Foundation (18-10747S). Chvojka, O. – Kuna, M. – Menšík, P. et al. 2021: Rituály ukončení a obnovy. The valency lexicon PDT-Vallex 4.0 has been built in close connection with the annotation of the Prague Dependency Treebank project (PDT) and its successors (mainly the Prague Czech-English Dependency Treebank project, PCEDT, the spoken language corpus (PDTSC) and corpus of user-generated texts in the project Faust). It contains over 14500 valency frames for almost 8500 verbs which occurred in the PDT, PCEDT, PDTSC and Faust corpora. In addition, there are nouns, adjectives and adverbs, linked from the PDT part only, increasing the total to over 17000 valency frames for 13000 words. All the corpora have been published in 2020 as the PDT-C 1.0 corpus with the PDT-Vallex 4.0 dictionary included; this is a copy of the dictionary published as a separate item for those not interested in the corpora themselves. It is available in electronically processable format (XML), and also in more human readable form including corpus examples (see the WEBSITE link below, and the links to its main publications elsewhere in this metadata). The main feature of the lexicon is its linking to the annotated corpora - each occurrence of each verb is linked to the appropriate valency frame with additional (generalized) information about its usage and surface morphosyntactic form alternatives. It replaces the previously published unversioned edition of PDT-Vallex from 2014.

The state of knowledge of the Epi-Lengyel settlement of South Moravia is still limited to a few isolated pub lished sites, with a predominant focus on the typological evaluation of pottery. Collections of lithics remain unevaluated or are treated mainly typologically. The inventory of the settlement feature from Lidická Street, Drnholec, Břeclav district, comprising, among other things, 45 lithic pieces, has made it possible to apply modern methods to the evaluation of the collection, elucidating detailed aspects of its use and the depositional context of this function. It is the first-ever collection of Epi-Lengyel lithics in Central Europe studied by use-wear analysis. The results of this analysis show that it is a functionally homogeneous assemblage that was intended for processing animal materials, mainly leather. In terms of the distribution of raw material, there is an absolute orientation towards local sources. In a broader settlement context, the site appears peripheral.

A new version of the previously published corpus Chroma. The version 2023.04 includes six children. Two transcripts (Julie20221, Klara30424) were removed since they did not meet the criteria on the dialogical format. The transcripts were revised (eliminating typing errors and inconsistencies in the transcription format) and morphologically annotated by the automatic tool MorphoDiTa. Detailed manual control of the annotation was performed on children's utterances; the annotation of adult data was not checked yet. Files are in plain text with UTF-8 encoding. Each file represents one recording session of one of the target children and is named with the alias of the child and their age at the given session in form YMMDD. Transcription rules and other details can be found on the homepage coczefla.ff.cuni.cz.

This paper discusses the wooden statue JE 100373, which was recently re discovered in the basement of the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. Based on the statue’s stylistic analysis and its identification in the unpublished excavation report MSS Gunn XXII, we re identify it as part of the statue ensemble of the overseer of the two granaries Ihy, found in a cache within a Ptolemaic tomb at Saqqara. As a result, the investigation proves the provenience of the statue from Cyril M. Firth’s excavations south of the Step Pyramid complex in 1926. Com bining conservation science and traditional Egyptological approaches, the paper finally provides evidence for the continuity of the manufacture of large sized high quality wooden statuary by residential workshops until the final years of Pepy II or slightly later.

The following article examines the process of gender/genre blurring through literary fiction. More specifically, it is concerned with textual poetics and bodily politics arising from the representation of queer and other-than-normative bodies. While these subjects have been historically controlled by normative discourses, mostly compared to monsters causing moral panic, the present narratives attempt to contest this ideological reality by what we could call “literary practice of boundary blurring”. This results in a distinct aesthetics where hybrid bodies and their discursive networks appear in various unexpected poetical ways and binary classifications become both troubled and troubling. Therefore, hybrid bodies and their discursive networks emerge in various unexpected poetical ways. In my analysis, critical attention is given to comparative dialogues between Monique Wittig & Léa Rivière and Virginia Woolf & Paul B. Preciado.

Preciado.
