The bachelor thesis deals with the proposal of a business strategy for a beekeeping enterprise. The theoretical part defines the concepts of strategic management. The practical part maps the internal and external environment including the competition. From the identified opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses, recommendations for improving marketing and business activities are made. The main weakness identified is the absence of an e-shop. The strength is product quality and customer loyalty. The threat is the possible extinction of bee colonies, while the opportunity is the growing interest in local products. The most important proposal is in the area of distribution and promotion, namely the creation of an e-shop and increased activity on social networks. The discussion describes areas for further research and compares the BCG matrix with a company in the same industry.

International and intranational aspects of the double taxation Abstract This diploma thesis describes history (the recent one at least) of the need to regulate the taxation of international entities operating in more than one tax jurisdiction, its origins and the early efforts to create tax treaties preventing double taxation and the history of first internationally operating companies. It also compares tax treaties concluded between Czech Republic, Liechtenstein and Ireland, because there is a long-time gap between ratification of each of them, and thus we can observe, how did the Czech base tax treaty model change for this specific type of treaties during those years. The diploma thesis also summarizes differences between the treaties, provides a wider context regarding their basis, describes the specifics of Czech base model and evaluates the distinctions from the model treaties. Finally, the diploma thesis elaborates on the overall state of international taxation and especially in the Czech Republic, particularly in relation to its membership in European Union, in the BEPS initiative within the OECD (and Czech participation in it), and assesses Czech Republic's current condition regarding the economic state of the country, its most important trading partners and the challenges arising from the...

The food industry accounts for approximately 30% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, yet this sector has so far not been included in the emissions allowance system. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the effects of hypothetical taxation on greenhouse gas emissions in the food industry. The thesis is based on consumption data and consumer prices of 20 selected foods over a 10-year period in the Czech Republic. The hypothetical amount of the tax is set at EUR 53.51 per ton of CO2 equivalent. The outcome of the thesis research indicates that any of the 6 proposed tax scenarios can have a positive impact on the environment. Emissions originating from food could be reduced by up to 25%, depending on the chosen tax scenario.

The aim of this rigorosum thesis is to give an insight on the problematics of colloquial language layer of Russian youth. The theoretical part is based on studies dealing with stylistic and sociolinguistic stratification of language. Further only colloquial formations are being dealt with, focusing on such concepts as "slang", "general slang" and "mat" and introducing ways of forming slang phrases. The practical part analyses written and oral text and subsequently acquired data is being compared and evaluated. The performed analysis illustrates how quickly the youth's slang is being updated and enriched with new expressions and which lexical units are being given preference by the older youth. The main contribution of this work is its relevance, as the research of this topic quickly becomes outdated.

The bachelor's thesis deals with Vojta's method, the reflex locomotion method, and its effectiveness in treatment children from birth to adolescence from the perspective of a special educator. Specifically it's not specified for a particular disability but observes the application of the reflex locomotion method for all kinds of disabilities. The theoretical part describes the introduction to Vojta's method - its history, definition, indication, course of therapy, therapeutic system, developmental ontogenesis. The practical part focuses exclusively on the effectiveness and success of reflex locomotion treatment in already announced age group of children. The main goal of qualitative research which is carried out by the method of questioning is to find out whether in the end the application of Vojta's method was effective and successful or not. The total number of respondent is 15 and they are both those who went through the method themselves and people who trained with individuals. The bachelor thesis evaluates the health status of trees in the Ostrov Municipal Forests in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí. The monitoring was carried out from October 2021 to December 2022 using the field method in two areas. The hard-to-determine fungal pathogen species found were sampled for laboratory determination. A total of 11 fungal pathogens were found, with the most important species being pine blister blight (Lophodermium pinastri), spruce budworm (Armillaria ostoyae) and alder blight (Phytophthora alni). Among insect pests, the spruce budworm (Ips typografus) and the alder weevil (Agelestica alni) were detected on alders. The stands of the Ostrov Municipal Forest are in a satisfactory state of health despite the presence of these fungal pathogens and insects.

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic "Management of pneumothorax in prehospital emergency care". The aim of the thesis was to identify the problematic areas in the procedures for the management of a developing pneumothorax in prehospital emergency care (henceforth PEC). The second aim was to determine the paramedic's perspective on lifelong learning on the issue of pneumothorax in PEC. The bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical part and a research part. The theoretical part includes anatomy of the respiratory system, description of the skeleton of the chest and mechanics of breathing. Further on in the thesis we find a description of the pneumothorax itself and the types that can be encountered within the PEC. Each type of pneumothorax is described separately in the thesis. We also find a description of the diagnosis, interventions and algorithms that the paramedic can use in the context of PEC. The research part was carried out using qualitative research in the form of nonstandardized interviews with paramedics. We find here interviews with 10 respondents. They are asked about the frequency of occurrence, the most frequent types, symptoms, possible complications, the actual procedure with and without a doctor, as well as, for example, their preparation and training. The results of the work show us that the knowledge of paramedics in most cases coincides with the information mentioned in the theoretical part. Respondents also described the great importance of their preparation and training. During the interviews they also explained how their training takes place. As a problem, most respondents mentioned the limited competences of paramedics without the presence of a doctor at the scene. Some interventions cannot be performed by a paramedic without the presence of a doctor. The exception is if the intervention performed is considered as a life-saving procedure. However, there is a fine line, especially if there is any complication in performing these interventions. The bachelor thesis could serve as a teaching material for students in the field of paramedic.Management of pneumothorax in prehospital emergency care

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the Minoan palaces as cult, religious centers as one of the possible functions, which the Minoan palaces had. Beginning of the work will present the main theories, which exist on the creation of Minoan palaces. Because the origin of palaces must be inherently connected with their function. Their advantages and disadvantages will be discussed. The second part will describe palaces themselves, especially from the architectural point of view. The last, third part, will compare the common architectural elements that occur in the palaces. Based on these common elements and their functions, the palaces will be represented as religious centers of the Bronze Age in Crete.

Louis Jagiellon, sometimes called "The Child King", was born in 1506 to Vladislaus II, King of Bohemia and Hungary, and his wife, a French noblewoman, Anne of Foix-Candale. After the death of his father in 1516, ten year old Louis had to take the royal office not only in Bohemia, but also in Kingdom of Hungary. In both countries, there was a very strong estate opposition which tended to belittle the King's power and pressed the ruler into a position where he would likely do Estates' bidding. The aristocrats of Bohemia had their range of actions even amplified by the fact that the King's court was not in Prague, but in remote Hungarian capitol city of Buda. During the reign of Vladislaus Jagiellon faced the Lands of the Bohemian Crown serious problems, many of which escalated in the times of young King Louis. The gravest of them was the long-lasting dispute between Bohemian nobility and royal cities. The cities wanted to gain voice in the parliament and economical privileges. Nobility started to support their own subjective cities and towns at the expense of the King's cities. Especially so called mile-law (Meilenrecht) was a matter of great discord.
