The food industry accounts for approximately 30% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, yet this sector has so far not been included in the emissions allowance system. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the effects of hypothetical taxation on greenhouse gas emissions in the food industry. The thesis is based on consumption data and consumer prices of 20 selected foods over a 10-year period in the Czech Republic. The hypothetical amount of the tax is set at EUR 53.51 per ton of CO2 equivalent. The outcome of the thesis research indicates that any of the 6 proposed tax scenarios can have a positive impact on the environment. Emissions originating from food could be reduced by up to 25%, depending on the chosen tax scenario.

The bachelor's thesis deals with Vojta's method, the reflex locomotion method, and its effectiveness in treatment children from birth to adolescence from the perspective of a special educator. Specifically it's not specified for a particular disability but observes the application of the reflex locomotion method for all kinds of disabilities. The theoretical part describes the introduction to Vojta's method - its history, definition, indication, course of therapy, therapeutic system, developmental ontogenesis. The practical part focuses exclusively on the effectiveness and success of reflex locomotion treatment in already announced age group of children. The main goal of qualitative research which is carried out by the method of questioning is to find out whether in the end the application of Vojta's method was effective and successful or not. The total number of respondent is 15 and they are both those who went through the method themselves and people who trained with individuals. The bachelor thesis evaluates the health status of trees in the Ostrov Municipal Forests in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí. The monitoring was carried out from October 2021 to December 2022 using the field method in two areas. The hard-to-determine fungal pathogen species found were sampled for laboratory determination. A total of 11 fungal pathogens were found, with the most important species being pine blister blight (Lophodermium pinastri), spruce budworm (Armillaria ostoyae) and alder blight (Phytophthora alni). Among insect pests, the spruce budworm (Ips typografus) and the alder weevil (Agelestica alni) were detected on alders. The stands of the Ostrov Municipal Forest are in a satisfactory state of health despite the presence of these fungal pathogens and insects.

The thesis is focused on non-substance addictions, particularly on forms of Internet addiction disorder which can occur at secondary school. My main goal is to discover if secondary school students are addicted to the Internet as well as the reasons for these addictions. Firstly, my bachelor thesis deals with the general characteristics of addictions and describes non-substance addictions, such as online gaming addiction and internet sex addiction. Moreover, I focused on the topic of compulsive Internet use in greater detail. In this thesis, I tried to briefly summarize what so-called dopamine is and how it relates to compulsive Internet use. Furthermore, the thesis deals more closely with the issue of time spent on the phone, digital detox, social networking, social media jealousy and applications such as Facebook, Snapchat, and Twitter. The thesis summarizes the manifestations of these addictions, their causes, prevention, and treatment. Excerpts of semi-structured interviews with students are continuously documented in the thesis. The final chapter analyses the results of the field research and deals with the conclusion of the whole work. This diploma thesis deals with alaboration of projekt documentation for Apartment building with a cafe and grocery shop. The building has a three-storey and partly basement. The apartment building is designed as a wooden building consisting of a wooden skeleton of glued laminated timber. The basement and the core of the building is designed as a reinforced concrete monolith construction. Roofing of the building is designed as flat roof. The land for projekct is situated in town Kroměříž on Lutopecenská street. Before of apartment building is designed areas of acces sidewalks, parking and conection to street road.

The Central European cultural landscape is shaped by human activity, which also has a major influence on the extent and stability of riparian vegetation (littorals). Littorals line all natural and artificial water bodies and thus play an important productive and non-productive role, providing shelter and food for many animals and increasing pond productivity. The overall aim of this paper is to assess different approaches to monitoring vegetation in aquatic and wetland habitats in relation to their biotic and abiotic characteristics and management objectives. The case study "Hučina" represents a type of situational monitoring in the sense of the Water Framework Directive. The aim of this long-term monitoring was to document the biotic and abiotic processes taking place in the littoral zone and to propose management measures to improve the ecological potential of the reservoir, which would be applicable to other reservoirs. The "Růžkatce" study uses the principles of exploratory monitoring. The aim of this work was to contribute to the knowledge of the biology of the rare roseate spoonbill (C. submersum) by comparing its basic growth and reproductive characteristics with those of the commonly occurring spiny spoonbill (C. demersum). The "Bažina" study is an example of situational monitoring under the Water Framework Directive. The aim of this study was to investigate the causes of littoral vegetation decay in a pond that is part of the Vrbenské rybníky PR. Furthermore, to map the current state of the pond ecosystem, to evaluate the possibilities of littoral restoration and to propose management measures leading to the stabilization and revitalization of this ecosystem. Mastering various methods of monitoring aquatic and wetland communities (e.g. vegetation mapping, repeated phytocenological imaging of permanent areas, measurement of various aspects of the abiotic environment and biotic influences) and supplementing the monitoring with experimental testing of hypotheses about their functioning brought new knowledge usable in practical nature and landscape conservation, both in refining management plans and in responding to sudden changes in specially protected areas or in evaluating the success of revitalization measures.

The bachelor thesis deals with sleep apnoea, heart failure and the relationship between these diseases. Sleep apnea is classified as the presence of apneic pauses during sleep that occur during sleep and disrupt sleep stages. Sleep apnoea is a significant risk factor for heart failure and can have a negative impact on the patient's prognosis. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to map the awareness of patients with heart failure about sleep apnoea. The theoretical part provides an insight into the basic information about this issue. The sleep-disordered breathing disorders are described first, which include include sleep apnoea. The next topic discussed is sleep apnea itself and heart failure. The last chapter of the thesis focuses on the relationship between sleep apnoea and heart failure. This chapter also describes the role of the nurse in nursing care and the life of patients with the disease. The research was conducted using qualitative methodology with semi-structured interviews. The interview consisted of five categories and 39 questions to answer the research questions of the thesis The research sample consisted of patients who had been diagnosed with heart failure for at least one year. The data collected was processed using the pencil and paper method and was divided into four categories for clarity. As a result of the research is a lack of awareness of sleep apnea among heart failure patients. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of bilateral trade relations between the Czech Republic and the Kingdom of Thailand and evaluate its contribution to the economic growth of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, to find and evaluate opportunities to support and strengthen the further development of this business cooperation. The thesis examines the scope and structure of trade between the Czech Republic and Thailand using an alternative evaluation of export – export of value added. The analytical part is based on wide range of economic and business indicators and statistical methods. The results of this thesis indicates a high potential of Thailand as a business partner for the Czech Republic, however, this potential is not sufficiently used.
