    This work analyzes the relevant influence of milling on the CO2 capture performance of CaO derived from natural limestone. Diverse types of milling mechanisms produce contrasting effects on the microstructure of the CaO formed after calcination of the milled limestone samples, which affects crucially the kinetics of carbonation at conditions for CO2 capture. The capture capacity of CaO derived from limestone samples milled using either shear or impact based mills is impaired compared to as-received limestone. After calcination of the milled samples, the resulting CaO porosity is increased while crystallinity is enhanced, which hinders carbonation. Conversely, if the material is simultaneously subjected to intense impact and shear stresses, CaO porosity is promoted whereas CaO cristanillity is reduced, which enhances carbonation in both the reaction and solid-state diffusion controlled regimes.     This study aims at the analysis of the reaction layer between titanium matrices and reinforcements: B4C particles and/or intermetallic TixAly. Likewise, the importance of these reactions was observed; this was particularly noteworthy as regard coherence with the obtained results and the parameters tested. Accordingly, five starting material compositions were studied under identical processing parameters via inductive hot pressing at 1100 C for 5 min in vacuum conditions. The results revealed how the intermetallics limited the formation of secondary phases (TiC and TiB) created from the B and C source. In this respect, the percentages of TiB and TiC slightly varied when the intermetallic was included in the matrix as prealloyed particles. On the contrary, if the intermetallics appeared in situ by the addition of Ti-Al powder in the starting blend, their content was lesser. The mechanical properties values and the tribology behaviour might deviate, depending on the percentage of the secondary phases formed and its distribution in the matrix.     Intrinsic localized modes, also called discrete breathers (DBs), can exist under certain conditions in one-dimensional nonlinear electrical lattices driven by external periodic excitations (PEs). In this work, we have studied experimentally the effectiveness of some PEs of variable waveform at generating DBs in such lattices. We have found that this generation phenomenon is optimally controlled by the strength of the fundamental harmonic of the driving.     Artificial intelligence (AI) is influencing various sectors of society, including the educational field. The use of AI can have great potential in education, however, it is necessary to know both its performance and its limitations. The main objective of this study is to analyze the prompts made by teachers in initial training in relation to the topic of specific educational support needs, classifying them according to Bloom's Taxonomy. For this, 63 students from the first year of the Primary Education Degree in the subject Information and Communication Technology applied to Education participated. The results show that the highest frequency of prompts made by students correspond to the highest levels of Bloom's taxonomy (apply and create), which suggests that students are capable of using the knowledge acquired in the subject to create new learning situations with their future students. This confirms that the implementation of this methodology is beneficial for the development of cognitive and pedagogical skills of future teachers. IV Plan Propio de Docencia.     We consider the Hodge filtration on the sheaf of meromorphic functions along free divisors for which the logarithmic comparison theorem holds. We describe the Hodge filtration steps as submodules of the order filtration on a cyclic presentation in terms of a special factor of the Bernstein–Sato polynomial of the divisor and we conjecture a bound for the generating level of the Hodge filtration. Finally, we develop an algorithm to compute Hodge ideals of such divisors and we apply it to some examples.     This work addresses the problem of the optimal real-time control of a DC microgrid without relying on its corresponding network model. The main goal of such a controller is to keep the nodal network voltages within the regulatory limits while offering current sharing capability between the different controllable generators powering the DC microgrid. The proposed model-less methodology is based on feedback optimization, which takes advantage of the available real-time measurements to update the setpoints of the DC generation assets. The optimal control variables are determined in an iterative manner by applying a primal–dual saddle-point method, which guarantees appropriate convergence features. The paper details both centralized and distributed implementations which are compared through simulations. The results evidence a good dynamic performance and an optimal steady-state operation as the proposed control algorithm converges to the solution provided by a conventional model-based Optimal Power Flow.     The increasing accumulation of toxic heavy metals in the environment has generated the need of efficient removal systems, being the adsorption method the most popular one applied in aqueous solutions. Of particular concern is the case of Pb2+, Cd2+ and Hg2+ due to their high potential hazard. In this paper, we describe the feasibility of a new family of nanomaterials, swelling high charge micas, in the removal of these cations from aqueous solutions. Batch adsorption experiments were carried out in the as-made micas, Na\\Mn, and after functionalization with eth- ylammonium, EA-Mn, and mercaptoethylammonium, MEA-Mn.     This work analyzes the relevant influence of milling on the CO2 capture performance of CaO derived from natural limestone. Diverse types of milling mechanisms produce contrasting effects on the microstructure of the CaO formed after calcination of the milled limestone samples, which affects crucially the kinetics of carbonation at conditions for CO2 capture. The capture capacity of CaO derived from limestone samples milled using either shear or impact based mills is impaired compared to as-received limestone. After calcination of the milled samples, the resulting CaO porosity is increased while crystallinity is enhanced, which hinders carbonation. Conversely, if the material is simultaneously subjected to intense impact and shear stresses, CaO porosity is promoted whereas CaO cristanillity is reduced, which enhances carbonation in both the reaction and solid-state diffusion controlled regimes.     This study aims at the analysis of the reaction layer between titanium matrices and reinforcements: B4C particles and/or intermetallic TixAly. Likewise, the importance of these reactions was observed; this was particularly noteworthy as regard coherence with the obtained results and the parameters tested. Accordingly, five starting material compositions were studied under identical processing parameters via inductive hot pressing at 1100 C for 5 min in vacuum conditions. The results revealed how the intermetallics limited the formation of secondary phases (TiC and TiB) created from the B and C source. In this respect, the percentages of TiB and TiC slightly varied when the intermetallic was included in the matrix as prealloyed particles. On the contrary, if the intermetallics appeared in situ by the addition of Ti-Al powder in the starting blend, their content was lesser. The mechanical properties values and the tribology behaviour might deviate, depending on the percentage of the secondary phases formed and its distribution in the matrix.     Intrinsic localized modes, also called discrete breathers (DBs), can exist under certain conditions in one-dimensional nonlinear electrical lattices driven by external periodic excitations (PEs). In this work, we have studied experimentally the effectiveness of some PEs of variable waveform at generating DBs in such lattices. We have found that this generation phenomenon is optimally controlled by the strength of the fundamental harmonic of the driving.     Artificial intelligence (AI) is influencing various sectors of society, including the educational field. The use of AI can have great potential in education, however, it is necessary to know both its performance and its limitations. The main objective of this study is to analyze the prompts made by teachers in initial training in relation to the topic of specific educational support needs, classifying them according to Bloom's Taxonomy. For this, 63 students from the first year of the Primary Education Degree in the subject Information and Communication Technology applied to Education participated. The results show that the highest frequency of prompts made by students correspond to the highest levels of Bloom's taxonomy (apply and create), which suggests that students are capable of using the knowledge acquired in the subject to create new learning situations with their future students. This confirms that the implementation of this methodology is beneficial for the development of cognitive and pedagogical skills of future teachers. IV Plan Propio de Docencia.     We consider the Hodge filtration on the sheaf of meromorphic functions along free divisors for which the logarithmic comparison theorem holds. We describe the Hodge filtration steps as submodules of the order filtration on a cyclic presentation in terms of a special factor of the Bernstein–Sato polynomial of the divisor and we conjecture a bound for the generating level of the Hodge filtration. Finally, we develop an algorithm to compute Hodge ideals of such divisors and we apply it to some examples.
