There is no reliable data on when the first madrasa in Bosnia was built. According to the sources, Behram-Bey’s Madrasa in Tuzla was founded by Tuzla’s legator Behram-bey. The Madrasa was built before 1626, but it was first mentioned by Bishop Olovčić in 1647 under the Latin name “Collegium imporum Softarum”. Significant data on the curricula under which classes in Behram-Bey’s Madrasa were implemented until 1922 are not available. The Madrasa ceased to operate because it was banned by the communist regime on January 15, 1949. The Madrasa building was demolished in April of 1974 and only its port (gate) was left in its place. Behram-Bey’s Madrasa was reopened on October 6, 1993. Behram-bey’s Madrasa is currently the most successful high school in the ranks of high schools in the Tuzla Canton. The alumni of Behram-Bey’s Madrasa are graduates of some of the most prestigious universities in the world and they have had significant social roles in the communities in which they live and work. The social role of Behram-Bey’s Madrasah is reflected in a wide range of educational activities aimed at emphasizing the comparative and positive values of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian society.

Istraživanjem ektoparazitskih trematoda na vrsti Scardinius erythrophthalmus donjeg toka rijeke Save ustanovljene su tri vrste trematoda koje parazitiraju na škrgama ili koži riba. Tokom istraživanog perioda uzrkovali smo 120 jedinki vrste Scardinius erythrophthalmus. Ukupno 85 jedinki ili više od 70% pokazalo je prisustvo jedne tri ustanovljene ektoparazitske trematode. Determinacija trematoda provedena je do nivoa vrste za jednu trematodu (Posthodiplostomum cuticola) i do nivoa roda za dvije (Dactylogyrus i Gyrodactylus). The aim of this paper was to examine the contribution of adolescents’ personal characteristics, family context variables and peer context variables in explaining the variance of self-esteem during early, middle and late adolescence.The research sample consisted of 344 students (7th and 8th graders) from six elementary schools, 370 students (2nd and 3rdgraders) from five high schools and 357 college students (2nd and 3rd graders) from five higher education institutions. The average age of participants was M=12.6 (SD= .63) for elementary school students, M=16.5 (SD= .57) for high school students and M=20.6 (SD=1.17) for college students. The following instruments were applied: Socio-demographic Features Questionnaire, Big Five Questionnaire, Big Five Questionnaire for Children, Parental Acceptance-Rejection Questionnaire, Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scale, Friendship Quality Questionnaire, Inventory of Peer Attachment-Revised and Self-esteem Scale. The results of hierarchical analyses indicate that decribed set of predictor variables account for 48% of total variance of self-esteem in young adolescents, 41% of total variance of self-esteem in middle adolescents and 46% of total variance of self-esteem in older adolescents. Considering personality and peer context variables, in all three adolescent groups, the self-esteem was significantly predicted by emotional stability/emotional instability and energy, and by perceived quality of attachment with peers, respectively. With respect to family context variables, the self-esteem was significantly predicted by perceived family cohesion and adaptability in young adolescents, by perceived parental acceptance-rejection of mothers in middle adolescents and by perceived parental acceptance-rejection of both (mothers and fathers) in older adolescents. The results of this study clearly indicate the necessity of taking into account the different forms of family and peer interactions, as well as the developmental specificities of particular period of adolescence, when considering personal and environmental determinants of self-esteem in adolescents.

Pored pozitivnih uticaja porodice na razvoj i formiranje ličnosti djeteta, ona može imati i sasvim drugačiji, negativan i destruktivan uticaj na razvoj maloljetnika. Ukoliko je funkcija porodice narušena, efekat na dijete može biti negativan i može uticati na pojavu devijantnosti. U ovom radu predstavićemo karakteristike i obilježja porodica maloljetnih prestupnika kojima je izrečena vaspitna mjera upućivanja u Vaspitno-popravni dom Banja Luka u periodu od 2006. do 2020. godine. Cilj ovog rada jeste, zapravo, da ukažemo na to koliko narušena struktura i funkcionalnost porodice utiče na pojavu prestupničkog ponašanja kod djece, te koliko ovi indikatori mogu biti značajni za sprovođenje procesa resocijalizacije maloljetnih prestupnika tokom izdržavanja vaspitne mjere. Ovo je prvo istraživanje koje je sprovedeno u ovoj vaspitnoj ustanovi od njenog osnivanja, što ukazuje na društveni, naučni, ali i aplikativni značaj ovog istraživanja i rezultata do kojih smo došli.

The research deals with the relationship between an educational style which parents prefer and someelements of their children’s behavior in a preschool educational facility. Some of the methods used werea descriptive-analytic survey method and some of the techniques: surveys and tests. Among some ofthe instruments there were: an educational style scale, a flexibility test and an observational list withmultiple-choice answers. The sample involved with 44 preschool children, their parents and 5 teachersin preschools. The research showed that educational styles preferred by the preschool children’s familiesis not a significant factor in determining the behavioral patterns of the children, neither is an absence oftheir flexibility. Factors which did matter was the educational background of their mothers and thefinancial status of their families.

The antimicrobial activity of two antimicrobial peptides, cecropin A and polymyxin B against different bacterial pathogens associated with bacterial dermatosepticemia, a fatal bacterial infectious disease of frogs was investigated. The peptides were tested in serial of concentrations (100-0.19 µg/ml) for growth inhibition of seven pathogens: Aeromonas hydrophila, Chryseobacterium meningosepticum, Citrobacter freundii, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus mirabilis and Serratia liquefaciens. Their antimicrobial activity was compared with that of two antimicrobial peptides from frog skin, magainin 2 and aurein 2.1. Both cecropin A and polymyxin B, completely inhibited the growth of three pathogens: C. freundii, K. pneumoniae and P. aeruginosa at a concentration some sixteen times less than two skin peptides. Furthermore, cecropin A inhibited the growth of three pathogens resistant to the two skin peptides, A. hydrophila, C. meningosepticum and P. mirabilis. Polymyxin B also inhibited the growth of three pathogens resistant to the skin peptides, A. hydrophila, C. meningosepticum and S. liquefaciens. Cecropin A and polymyxin B have marked antibacterial activity against different frog bacterial pathogens indicating potential for therapeutic measures.Keywords: frogs, antimicrobial, bacteria, cecropin, polymyxin, resistance

This work will talk about synonyms in Turkish novel Masumiyet Müzesi (Museum of Innocence) by Orhan Pamuk, and synonymy as a single language appearance. Relationships between synonyms, the way these relationships work in the novel are some of the tasks of this work. Are the two words synonyms? At the question asked, this work will try to give a concrete answer through examples from the novel. Examples will show whether some synonyms in the novel are interchangeable in certain contexts. The synonym pair, the synonym sequence, does the synonyms share the same meaning, whether the context of one sentence will change if two synonyms substitute their place are the topics to be explored, and the questions to be answered. The research will show which types of words can be synonyms. This work will first provide a theoretical framework for synonyms as a single language appearance. Then it will explain how this phenomenon is reflected in the Turkish language. Synonyms are a very interesting topic for research, since there are many synonyms of Arabic and Persian origin in the Turkish language. Work will also suggest other questions related to the topic being addressed.

У савременом друштву какво је и наше већ двије деценије актуелна су друштвена и нормативно-правна опредјељења када је ријеч о дигитализацији процеса учења. Развојни пут дигитализације процеса учења, од приједлога до афирмације, захтијева научна сазнања о томе у којој мјери такво учење истински прихватају ученици, учитељи и родитељи. Експлицирајући релевантна теоријска полазишта, рад садржи анализиране резултате емпиријског истраживања учења и емоција ученика у дигиталном окружењу на узорку од 116 ученика осмог и деветог разреда са подручја Бањалуке и Приједора. Установљено је да не постоје статистички значајне разлике у процјенама ученика према полу и општем школском успјеху, док је пронађена минимална статистички значајна повезаност између времена ког ученици проведу радећи за рачунаром и њихових процјена.

The antimicrobial activity of two antimicrobial peptides, cecropin A and polymyxin B against different bacterial pathogens associated with bacterial dermatosepticemia, a fatal bacterial infectious disease of frogs was investigated. The peptides were tested in serial of concentrations (100-0.19 µg/ml) for growth inhibition of seven pathogens: Aeromonas hydrophila, Chryseobacterium meningosepticum, Citrobacter freundii, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus mirabilis and Serratia liquefaciens. Their antimicrobial activity was compared with that of two antimicrobial peptides from frog skin, magainin 2 and aurein 2.1. Both cecropin A and polymyxin B, completely inhibited the growth of three pathogens: C. freundii, K. pneumoniae and P. aeruginosa at a concentration some sixteen times less than two skin peptides. Furthermore, cecropin A inhibited the growth of three pathogens resistant to the two skin peptides, A. hydrophila, C. meningosepticum and P. mirabilis. Polymyxin B also inhibited the growth of three pathogens resistant to the skin peptides, A. hydrophila, C. meningosepticum and S. liquefaciens. Cecropin A and polymyxin B have marked antibacterial activity against different frog bacterial pathogens indicating potential for therapeutic measures.Keywords: frogs, antimicrobial, bacteria, cecropin, polymyxin, resistance

This work will talk about synonyms in Turkish novel Masumiyet Müzesi (Museum of Innocence) by Orhan Pamuk, and synonymy as a single language appearance. Relationships between synonyms, the way these relationships work in the novel are some of the tasks of this work. Are the two words synonyms? At the question asked, this work will try to give a concrete answer through examples from the novel. Examples will show whether some synonyms in the novel are interchangeable in certain contexts. The synonym pair, the synonym sequence, does the synonyms share the same meaning, whether the context of one sentence will change if two synonyms substitute their place are the topics to be explored, and the questions to be answered. The research will show which types of words can be synonyms. This work will first provide a theoretical framework for synonyms as a single language appearance. Then it will explain how this phenomenon is reflected in the Turkish language. Synonyms are a very interesting topic for research, since there are many synonyms of Arabic and Persian origin in the Turkish language. Work will also suggest other questions related to the topic being addressed.

У савременом друштву какво је и наше већ двије деценије актуелна су друштвена и нормативно-правна опредјељења када је ријеч о дигитализацији процеса учења. Развојни пут дигитализације процеса учења, од приједлога до афирмације, захтијева научна сазнања о томе у којој мјери такво учење истински прихватају ученици, учитељи и родитељи. Експлицирајући релевантна теоријска полазишта, рад садржи анализиране резултате емпиријског истраживања учења и емоција ученика у дигиталном окружењу на узорку од 116 ученика осмог и деветог разреда са подручја Бањалуке и Приједора. Установљено је да не постоје статистички значајне разлике у процјенама ученика према полу и општем школском успјеху, док је пронађена минимална статистички значајна повезаност између времена ког ученици проведу радећи за рачунаром и њихових процјена.
