    The diploma thesis I Am The One Who's Gonna Steal Your Job deals with the transitional period in the life of a young artist who dreams of career realization in his field. He thinks about how to achieve this when he realizes that even a less established painters can often sell their paintings for thousands of czech crowns, because paintings can be easily commodified and, as a result, placed in the interior. He thus decides to leave his area of practice and tries to get into the market with traditional artistic media with the help of artificial intelligence and marketing. He doesn't go far for visual inspiration, as he tries to recycle and distort photos (so-called visual smog) of a corner store on the other side of the street. The thesis deals with the issue of the emergence of artificial intelligence in the field of visual arts and with the eternal question of the ethics of the authorship of a work of art and its authenticity. It also deals with the question of the employment of art school graduates. Therefore, the work does not only provide a subversive analysis of the art market but also a reflection of the position of the artist participating in this market. Diplomová práce I Am The One Who’s Gonna Steal Your Job se zabývá přechodným obdobím života mladého umělce, který sní o kariérní realizaci ve svém oboru. Přemýšlí jak toho dosáhnout, když si uvědomí že často i méně etablovaný malíř může prodávat své obrazy v řádech tisíců korun, protože se dají jednoduše komodifikovat a v důsledku umístit v interiéru. Rozhodne se tak opustit jemu blízkou sféru tvorby a pokusí se uplatnit na trhu s tradičními uměleckými médii, avšak za pomocí umělé inteligence a marketingu. Pro vizuální inspiraci nejde daleko, jelikož se pokusí recyklovat a deformovat obrazy (takzvaný vizuální smog) z výlohy protější večerky. Práce se věnuje problematice nástupu umělé inteligence v oblasti výtvarného umění, věčné otázce etiky autorství uměleckého díla a jeho autenticity, ale také třeba otázce uplatnění absolventů vysokých uměleckých škol na trhu práce. Jedná se tak nejen o subverzivní analýzu trhu s uměním, ale také o úvahu na téma poptávky, role současného umění ve vztahu k uměleckému trhu a o pozici umělce participujícího na tomto trhu. A

    Cryptids, video which is studying animals, its shapes, moves and the environment , where they find themselves. The video is looking equal to all entity without any difference, document varied life as same as passing death or rot as well. It also speaks about collaboration and the microworld, which creates perfect unit. Silent mutual conversations. Kryptidy, video, které zkoumá zvířata, jejich tvary, pohyby a prostředí, ve kterých se objevují. Na všechny entity se dívá rovnocenně a nerozdílně, dokumentuje bujarý život tak stejně, jako nahlíží na přicházející smrt nebo již rozklad. Mluví také o spolupráci a mikrosvětě, který vytváří společný dokonalý celek. Jsou to tiché vzájemné rozhovory. C

    Budova galerie se nachází hned vedle historického centra Brna, na místě, spadající do tzv. brněnské „Ringstrasse“. Parcela sousedí s Palácem Morava a s Magistrátem města Brna. Tato lokalita je po vídeňském vzoru zasvěcována stavbám s kulturním významem. V nejbližším sousedství najdeme jak Mahenovo divadlo, tak i o kus dál Janáčkovo divadlo. Tudíž vybudovat zde adekvátní Galerii moderního umění zapadá do koncepce tohoto urbanistického celku. Řešené území svým charakterem chce vytvořit přechod mezi zastavěnou částí „Ringstrasse“ a částí s parky určenou k rekreaci. Inspirací byl objekt obraného bastionu z období barokního opevnění města Brna. Jeden z hlavních těchto prvků se v minulosti nacházel právě na tomto území. Navracím do území hmotu, kolem které se formovalo současné historické jádro města. Tudíž do tamějších souvislostí zapadne. Budova tvoří plynulý přechod zástavby, přes odskákané zelené terasy, do ploch parků, typických pro okružní třídy. Gallery of modern art is located in the historical center of the Brno city. This part is known as "Ringstrasse". Following the Wiena ringstrasse, in Brno, this part is a place for important culture buildings. Close to the gallery, we can find several culture institutions, such as Mahen's theatre, Janacek's theatre, or House of culture. So, Gallery of modern art make's sense in these parts of the city. Main goal was to create a step between city part and city parks. The main inspiration, for me, was an old fortification object called bastion. It was build during baroco era and demolished in the times of Napoleon's wars. I want to bring back an object that formed old city and its surroundings, so its replacement will fit in. It's cascades with green teracces goes down towards the parks, that are next to the gallery. C

    The aim of this work was to create a study of revitalization and restoration of the manor house and park in Veľké Leváre. During the creation of the design it was necessary to re-evaluate the cultural-historical values of the manor house, the construc- tional-technical condition, the requirements of the potential investor and the demand for functions in the village’s proximity. I have realized that placement of a mono-function in a mansion is almost impossible, considering its extensive ground plan. The manor house, thus, creates a complex of functions that overlap each other. The result of the entire design is a com- prehensive solution of the full use of the manor house with the park. Hence, the park will have a relaxing and recreational function. In the proposal, I have also offered a possible plan of stages of project’s works. The manor house and the adjacent park can, thus, fulfill the full function in the society again. Cieľom práce bolo vytvorenie štúdie revitalizácie a obnovy kaštieľa a parku vo Veľkých Levároch. Pri návrhu bolo nutné prehodnotiť kultúrno-historické hodnoty kaštieľa, stavebno-technický stav, požiadavky potenciálneho investora a dopyt po funkciách v okolí obce. Zistila som, že umiestnenie mono-funkcie do kaštieľa je takmer nemožné, vzhľadom na jeho rozsiahly pôdorys. Kaštieľ tak vytvára komplex funkcií, ktoré sa navzájom prekrývajú. Výsledkom celého návrhu je komplexné riešenie plnohodnotného využitia kaštieľa s parkom. Park tak bude tvoriť hlavne funkciu oddychovú a rekreačnú. V návrhu som taktiež ponúkla prípadný plán postupov prác na projekte. Kaštieľ a priľahlý park tak môžu znova plniť plnohodnotnú funkciu v spoločnosti. C

    Authors: Maixner, Miroslav;

    The dissertation focuses on the phenomenon of a new presence of references to traditional folk culture in contemporary Czech and Slovak art. Emphasis is placed on the period from the year 2000 to the present. The core of the work consists of chapters devoted to artists who in this period significantly thematized various aspects of traditional folk culture, either as a partial element of specific projects or in the form of continuous interest in the field. The essence of this part is to show the breadth and heterogeneity of the examined manifestations across the media spectrum. The main purpose of the work is to analyze and place the researched phenomena in a relevant context within the theory and history of art. The reason is their different nature from thematically similar manifestations in the 19th and 20th centuries. In addition, when compared with current trends abroad, a number of connections are shown, such as links to environmental issues, criticism of the state of society and, above all, to new issues related to personal and collective identification. Therefore, I base the analysis of these phenomena on a hybrid interdisciplinary basis using theoretical approaches to identity in the social sciences and humanities. I do so in the introductory theoretical chapters, but the main focus is on the final analytical synthesis. To a large extent, it also builds on data obtained from interviews with artists, the transcripts of which the reader will find in the appendix. Finally, the documentation of curatorial projects and exhibitions realized as a practical part of the dissertation project is attached. Disertační práce se zaměřuje na fenomén nové přítomnosti odkazů k tradiční lidové kultuře v současném českém a slovenském umění. Důraz je přitom kladen na období od roku 2000 po současnost. Jádro práce tvoří kapitoly věnované umělkyním a umělcům, kteří v tomto období výrazněji tematizovali různé aspekty tradiční lidové kultury, a to buď coby dílčí prvek konkrétních projektů, nebo v podobě kontinuálního zájmu o danou oblast. Podstatou této části je ukázat šíři a heterogenitu zkoumaných projevů napříč mediálním spektrem. Hlavním záměrem celé práce je pak analýza a zasazení zkoumaných jevů do relevantního kontextu v rámci teorie a historie umění. Důvodem je jejich odlišná povaha od tematicky podobných projevů v 19. a 20. století. Při srovnání s aktuálními tendencemi v zahraničí se navíc ukazuje řada spojitostí, jako jsou vazby na environmentální problematiku, kritiku stavu společnosti a především na nové otázky spojené s osobní i kolektivní identifikací. Analýzu těchto fenoménů proto stavím na hybridním interdisciplinárním základě s využitím teoretických přístupů k identitě v sociálních a humanitních vědách. Činím tak jednak v úvodních teoretických kapitolách, hlavní těžiště ale spočívá v závěrečné analytické syntéze. Ta do značné míry staví též na datech získaných z rozhovorů s umělci, jejichž přepisy najde čtenář v příloze. V závěru je přiložena dokumentace kurátorských projektů a výstav realizovaných coby praktická část dizertačního projektu. P

    The work deals with the problem of the ultimate and serviceability limit state of a once-anchored retaining structure of an excavation on Krenova street in Brno. The calculation of the ultimate limit state is solved manually and provides an input into the serviceability limit state, which is solved by means of a numerical analysis using a finite element method. To calculate the serviceability limit state, these constitutive models: Mohr-Columb, Hardening soil and Hardening soil small strain model are used. Práce se zabývá problematikou prvního a druhého mezního stavu, jedenkrát kotvené pažící konstrukce stavební jámy, na ulici Křenová v Brně. Výpočet prvního mezního stavu je proveden ručně a poskytuje vstupní informace pro druhý mezní stav, který je pak řešen numerickou analýzou, metodou konečných prvků. Pro výpočet druhého mezního stavu pak byly použity tyto materiálové modely: Mohr-Columb, Hardening soil a Hardening soil small strain model. A

    Velmi často lidé nakupují na internetu zboží, které si nemohou prohlédnout a vyzkoušet. Spoléhají se tedy na recenze ostatních zákazníků, ale těch už může být v dnešní době příliš mnoho na to, aby je člověk mohl sám rychle a pohodlně zpracovat. Cílem této práce je nabídnout aplikaci, která dokáže v českých recenzích rozpoznat, jaké vlastnosti produktu jsou nejvíce komentované a zda je vyznění komentářů pozitivní či negativní. Výsledky pak mohou ušetřit velké množství času zákazníkům e-shopů a poskytnout zajímavou zpětnou vazbu výrobcům prodávaných produktů. Very often, people buy goods on the Internet that they can not see and try. They therefore rely on reviews of other customers. However, there may be too many reviews for a human to handle them quickly and comfortably. The aim of this work is to offer an application that can recognize in Czech reviews what features of a product are most commented and whether the commentary is positive or negative. The results can save a lot of time for e-shop customers and provide interesting feedback to the manufacturers of the products. C

    Authors: Pecháčková, Lucie;

    The subject of the thesis is an architectural study of the restoration and new use of the historic building of the former monastery in Šternberk and the surrounding garden. The monastery is owned by the city, which is looking for a usage for it. The goal of the proposal is to give this monument a new life, i.e. to make it town‘s living part, which will have not only historical, but also contemporary social significance. And thanks to this, it also will have the means for its maintenance and preservation of historical values for future generations. This purpose of the study is solved by creating a pleasant and easily accessible garden environment and by choosing the content of the building, which will give people a reason to visit and use the monastery grounds more. The architectural design is based on an analysis of the current situation and freely reflects the ideas of the town management. And at the same time, from the point of view of historic preservation, the proposal strives for the greatest possible degree of preservation or restoration of valuable historical building constructions and details. The new content of the building is a hotel with wellness, a restaurant, a cafe, offices and a coworking center, exhibition spaces, art studios and a multifunctional town hall. The building is complemented by new architectural elements of the central staircase with elevator and the atrium roof, which, like the park arrangement of the garden, combine contemporary architecture with the concept of baroque morphology. Předmětem diplomové práce je architektonická studie obnovy a nového využití historické budovy bývalého kláštera ve Šternberku a okolní zahrady. Klášter je v majetku města, které pro něj hledá využití. Cílem návrhu je dát této památce nový život, tedy aby se stala živou součástí města, která má nejen historický, ale i současný společenský význam. A díky tomu má i prostředky na svoji údržbu a zachování historických hodnot pro další generace. Tento záměr studie řeší vytvořením příjemného a dobře přístupného prostředí zahrady a výběrem náplně budovy, která dá lidem důvod areál kláštera více navštěvovat a využívat. Architektonický návrh vychází z analýzy současného stavu a volně reflektuje představy vedení města. A zároveň z hlediska památkové péče návrh usiluje o co největší míru zachování nebo obnovení hodnotných historických stavebních konstrukcí a detailů. Novou náplní objektu je hotel s wellness, restaurace, kavárna, kanceláře a coworkingové centrum, výstavní prostory ateliéry a multifunkční městský sál. Budova je doplněna o nové architektonické prvky centrálního schodiště s výtahem a zastřešení atria, které stejně jako parková úprava zahrady kombinují současnou architekturu s konceptem barokního tvarosloví.     Authors: Ilič, Risto;

    Authors: Maixner, Miroslav;

    Authors: Kováč, Vladimír;
