Bu çalışmanın amacı yapılan bilimsel araştırmalardan hareketle konuşma kaysının nedenlerinin ve bu kaygının giderilmesinde işe koşulabilecek uygulamaların genel olarak ortaya konmasıdır. Bu amaçla verilerin elde edilmesinde nitel araştırma yaklaşımı çerçevesinde doküman incelemesi yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda konuşma kaygısı nedenlerinin ve azaltılması için başvurulabilecek uygulamaların gerek anadilde gerekse yabancı dilde benzer olduğu görülmüştür. İncelenen bilimsel metinlerden hareketle araştırmada ulaşılan sonuçlar şöyle sıralanabilir: Genel olarak konuşma kaygısı olumsuz eğitim öğretim ortamları, not verme ve korkutma amacıyla yapılan ölçme ve değerlendirme uygulamaları, olumsuz tutum ve düşünceler, dil bilgi ve becerisi eksikliği gibi farklı nedenlerden kaynaklanmaktadır. Konuşma kaygısının giderilmesinde dil pratiğine dayalı öğrenciyi aktif kılan rol oynama, tiyatro, hazırlıklı konuşma, hazırlıksız konuşma, akademik çelişki gibi yöntem ve teknikler kullanılabilir. Ayrıca mikro öğretim, doğrudan öğretim gibi rehberliğe önem veren modellere başvurulabilir. Bunların dışında konuşma kaygısının azaltılmasında olumlu ve yapıcı geribildirimler de etkili olabilmektedir. The aim of this study is to determine the causes of speech anxiety and applications to reduce this anxiety based on scientific research. For this purpose, document analysis was conducted within the framework of qualitative research approach to obtain the data. As a result of the study, it was seen that the reasons of speech anxiety and the applications that can be applied in reducing this anxiety were similar in mother tongue and foreign language. Based on the studies examined, the following conclusions can be reached in this research: Generally speaking anxiety is caused by different reasons such as negative educational environments, measurement and evaluation practices for grading and scare, negative attitudes and thoughts, and lack of language knowledge and skills. Methods and techniques such as role playing, theater, prepared speech, unprepared speech, academic contradiction that can make the student active based on language practice can be used in the elimination of speech anxiety. In addition, such as micro-teaching, direct teaching models that rely on guidance can be applied. In addition, positive and constructive feedback can also be effective in reducing speech anxiety.

Üç kamu bankası konut sahibi olmak isteyenler için “Enflasyona Endeksli Konut Kredisi” ürününü kullanıma sundu. Kampanyayı değerlendiren İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi Bankacılık ve Sigortacılık Bölümü’nden Dr. Öğr. Üy. Lokman Kantar, “Tabi buradaki varsayım enflasyonun kademeli olarak düşeceği beklentisidir. Aksi halde bu üründen beklenilen fayda elde etmek mümkün olmayacaktır” şeklinde açıklamada bulundu. Kamu bankaları enflasyon korumalı mevduat hesabının ardından enflasyona endeksli konut kredisi sunmaya başladı. Bu noktada Ziraat Bankası, VakıfBank ve Halkbank enflasyona endeksli konut kredisi uygulaması başlattığını duyurdu. Enflasyona Endeksli Konut Kredisi ile 120 aya kadar vade seçeneği sunulurken, faiz oranları Tüketici Fiyat Endeksi’ne (TÜFE) bağlı olarak değişecek. Böylece enflasyon oranıyla birlikte taksit tutarları da düşecek.

The purpose of this research study is to identify the impact of national tests on teaching and learning in middle school English classes through teachers’ perceptions. Through a phenomenological design, semi-structured interviews were used to gather data with 24 in-service teachers working in public and private middle schools in Denizli. The data were analysed through the emerging themes and codes within the scope of research questions. Similarities and differences between public and private middle schools and English teachers have also been analysed. The results showed that Transition to High School Exam (THSE) had an impact on both public and private school teachers’ curricular and instructional decisions as well as their evaluation of student performance. The topics, question form, target words and competencies in THSE are extensively studied and integrated into English lessons while non-tested topics and competencies are ignored in the public middle schools. On the other hand, some private schools participating in the study followed two different curricula for THSE and English for general purposes to meet the demands of the curriculum and the THSE. Teachers reported that THSE affected students’ emotions and attitudes, studying, and learning habits. Moreover, parents’ expectations in line with the THSE were found to create stress and anxiety for both students and teachers. The findings were further discussed and interpreted in relation to implications for practice and further research.

In this study, swing up and stabilization of on/off type of cold gas thruster driven inverted pendulum is accomplished. First, pulse width modulator (PWM) design method is generated to obtain quasi-linear thrust output from on/off type of thruster. Than, single axis angle controller is designed. Designed angle controller and PWM scheme are tested and verified on single axis angle control test setup. Finally, an other freedom is attached to single axis test setup and rotary inverted pendulum (Furuta Pendulum) is obtained. By this way inherently unstable, under-actuated and on/off driven system is obtained. For swing up motion, energy method is applied. Balancing of the pendulum is achieved by observer based state feedback controller under small angle assumption and quasi-linear output from PWM driven thrusters.

Understanding the abnormal biochemical and psychological mechanisms underlying autism spectrum disorders,identifying the impacts caused by environmental factors, and exciting studies for researchers and clinicians are importantbecause research on our understanding of the main causes of autism is expected to lead to new approaches to diagnosis,treatment and prognosis. This review will focus on the effects of recent studies on biochemical markers and environmentalfactors, including MRI studies in the brain, which focus on the causes and treatment of autism. Otizm spektrum bozukluklarının altında yatan anormal biyokimyasal ve psikolojik mekanizmaları anlamak,çevresel etmenlerin sebep olduğu etkileri belirlemek, araştırmacılar ve klinisyenler için heyecan verici çalışmalardır,çünkü otizmin temel nedenleri hakkındaki anlayışımızda yapılan araştırmaların tanı, tedavi ve prognoz için yeniyaklaşımlara yol açması beklenmektedir. Bu derleme, otizm nedenleri ve tedavisi için üzerinde durulan, beyinde yapılanMRI araştırmaları, son zamanlarda belirlenen biyokimyasal belirteçler ve çevresel etmenlerin sebep olduğu etkilerüzerinde duracaktır.
