Nowadays we are in the information era, our society needs specific information to their needs, and in many times this represents the success or failure of a company. Is for his reason that the social media have become a very important information channel, which using it properly could help us to achieve very important goals. Throughout this project we got into the gathering information process by using the social media tool Twitter. We've done a simulation with real data pondering the emotions of the information gathered and getting a result thanks to the process algorithms of natural language and text. This simulation helps us to understand the steps to follow to be able to get some conclusions, and decide at the end if an event has been positive, negative or neutral.

Human-Computer interaction is one of the main areas of research of Computer Vision. In this project we present a quantative and qualitative study of different state-of-the-art methods for Head/Face Tracking in the context of head interaction using natural light only. First, available bibliography is studied and the performance of the most relevant open source softwares are analized. Those softwares are tested using both qualitative and quantitative metrics in order to select the optimal candidate to be used in a hardware-limited environment such as a Raspberry Pi with a standard webcam. Finally, a functional software prototype is implemented as a validation aplication for the method.

    La autenticación del usuario es un proceso que hace años que se pone en práctica. Ofrece seguridad a un sistema de acceso y da privilegios a ciertos usuarios. Sin embargo, debido al COVID-19, muchos de estos sistemas han tenido que renovarse y ofrecer una seguridad sanitaria para los empleados. Este proyecto utiliza las nuevas tecnologías del Cloud Computing y Deep Learning para realizar un sistema de acceso a un edificio restringido utilizando reconocimiento facial. Utilizando la cámara de Amazon DeepLens se procede a hacer una detección de la cara, y con los servicios de visión por computador, se llevan a cabo las funcionalidades de detección de mascarillas y reconocimiento del individuo. Además, el usuario recibe un feedback por voz durante todo el proceso de autentificación al sistema. L'autenticació de l'usuari és un procés que fa anys que es posa en pràctica. This project uses new Cloud Computing technologies and Deep Learning to implement a restricted building access system using facial recognition. Using the Amazon DeepLens camera, a face detection model is executed, and with the computer vision services, the mask detection and facial recognition functionalities are performed. In addition, the user receives audio feedback throughout the process of authentication to the system.

    Degut a la gran demanda tecnològica, actualment hi ha un gran interès en desenvolupar medis magnètics amb entitats ferromagnètiques de dimensions nanomètriques. Aquesta demanda promou la investigació i el desenvolupament de nous materials i processos de fabricació que permetin controlar d'una manera més precisa les propietats magnètiques i estructurals. Entre els mètodes de litografia convencionals (per exemple deposició física a través de màscares, deposició química en fase vapor i electrodeposició), recentment s'ha demostrat que la irradiació amb ions a través de màscares pre-litografiades, sembla ser un bon mètode per a la fabricació d'estructures ferromagnètiques de l'ordre dels nanòmetres. Aquesta tècnica pot ser aplicada per aprofitar la transició paramagnètica-ferromagnètica que presenten alguns materials al ser desordenats estructuralment (per exemple FeAl, FePt3, Ni3Sn2). En el treball que es presenta a continuació s'utilitza l'aliatge Fe60Al40 per a fabricar estructures ferromagnètiques embegudes en una matriu paramagnètica mitjançant irradiació amb ions d'argó a través d'una membrana de polimetil metacrilat (PMMA) prèviament litografiada amb feixos d'electrons (EBL). La fabricació d'aquest sistema té com a objectiu d'estudiar l'evolució de la morfologia i el gruix de PMMA (a partir de SEM i AFM) i del comportament magnètic de les estructures fabricades (MFM i MOKE), quan és irradiat consecutivament a diferents energies. Per a completar l'estudi s'han utilitzat simulacions per a determinar les condicions d'irradiació (TRIM), com per a una millor comprensió dels resultats (simulacions micromagnètiques). El contingut de la memòria inclou una breu introducció històrica i conceptual sobre el magnetisme. A continuació s'exposen les tècniques necessàries per a la fabricació, preparació i caracterització de la mostra. Finalment es presenta una discussió dels resultats obtinguts i les conclusions.

    Actualmente estamos en la era de la información, nuestra sociedad cada vez necesita más una información precisa y filtrada, que en muchos casos, incluso, puede representar el éxito o la quiebra de muchas de las empresas actuales. Es por este motivo que las redes sociales suponen un nuevo canal de información, que tratando adecuadamente se pueden transformar en resultados de gran valor. A lo largo de este proyecto se ha profundizado en la adquisición de la información mediante la red social Twitter y se ha realizado una simulación con datos reales, ponderando las emociones de los datos recogidos y llegando en un resultado gracias a los algoritmos de procesamiento del lenguaje natural y clasificación de texto. Así viendo todos los pasos a seguir para poder extraer unas conclusiones adecuadas que nos permitan obtener una globalización capaz de definir si un evento ha sido positivo, negativo o neutro.

    La interacción hombre-computador es una de las principales áreas de investigación de la Visión por Computador. En este proyecto se presenta un estudio cuantitativo y cualitativo de los diferentes métodos del estado del arte de Head/Face Tracking en el contexto de interacción con la cabeza utilizando únicamente la luz natural. Primeramente, se estudia la bibliografía disponible y se analiza el rendimiento de los software libres más relevantes. Estos software son puestos a prueba utilizando métricas de forma cualitativa y cuantitativa para escoger el candidato más óptimo para utilizarlo en un entorno hardware limitado como una Raspberry Pi con una cámara estándar. Finalmente, se implementa un prototipo de software funcional como aplicación de validación del método. En aquest projecte es presenta un estudi quantitatiu i qualitatiu dels diferents mètodes de l'estat de l'art de Head/Face Tracking en el context d'interacció amb el cap utilitzant únicament la llum natural. Primerament, s'estudia la bibliografia disponible i s'analitza el rendiment dels softwares lliures més rellevants. Aquests softwares són posats a prova utilitzant mètriques de forma qualitativa i quantitativa per tal d'escollir el candidat òptim per a utilitzar-ho en un entorn hardware limitat com una Raspberry Pi amb una càmera estàndard.

    La autenticación del usuario es un proceso que hace años que se pone en práctica. Ofrece seguridad a un sistema de acceso y da privilegios a ciertos usuarios. Sin embargo, debido al COVID-19, muchos de estos sistemas han tenido que renovarse y ofrecer una seguridad sanitaria para los empleados. Este proyecto utiliza las nuevas tecnologías del Cloud Computing y Deep Learning para realizar un sistema de acceso a un edificio restringido utilizando reconocimiento facial. Utilizando la cámara de Amazon DeepLens se procede a hacer una detección de la cara, y con los servicios de visión por computador, se llevan a cabo las funcionalidades de detección de mascarillas y reconocimiento del individuo. Además, el usuario recibe un feedback por voz durante todo el proceso de autentificación al sistema. L'autenticació de l'usuari és un procés que fa anys que es posa en pràctica.     Authors: Varea Espelt, Aïda; Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Escola d'Enginyeria;

    Degut a la gran demanda tecnològica, actualment hi ha un gran interès en desenvolupar medis magnètics amb entitats ferromagnètiques de dimensions nanomètriques. Aquesta demanda promou la investigació i el desenvolupament de nous materials i processos de fabricació que permetin controlar d'una manera més precisa les propietats magnètiques i estructurals. Entre els mètodes de litografia convencionals (per exemple deposició física a través de màscares, deposició química en fase vapor i electrodeposició), recentment s'ha demostrat que la irradiació amb ions a través de màscares pre-litografiades, sembla ser un bon mètode per a la fabricació d'estructures ferromagnètiques de l'ordre dels nanòmetres. Aquesta tècnica pot ser aplicada per aprofitar la transició paramagnètica-ferromagnètica que presenten alguns materials al ser desordenats estructuralment (per exemple FeAl, FePt3, Ni3Sn2). En el treball que es presenta a continuació s'utilitza l'aliatge Fe60Al40 per a fabricar estructures ferromagnètiques embegudes en una matriu paramagnètica mitjançant irradiació amb ions d'argó a través d'una membrana de polimetil metacrilat (PMMA) prèviament litografiada amb feixos d'electrons (EBL). La fabricació d'aquest sistema té com a objectiu d'estudiar l'evolució de la morfologia i el gruix de PMMA (a partir de SEM i AFM) i del comportament magnètic de les estructures fabricades (MFM i MOKE), quan és irradiat consecutivament a diferents energies. Per a completar l'estudi s'han utilitzat simulacions per a determinar les condicions d'irradiació (TRIM), com per a una millor comprensió dels resultats (simulacions micromagnètiques). El contingut de la memòria inclou una breu introducció històrica i conceptual sobre el magnetisme. A continuació s'exposen les tècniques necessàries per a la fabricació, preparació i caracterització de la mostra. Finalment es presenta una discussió dels resultats obtinguts i les conclusions.
