Test conducted by Rebecca Diaz at the George H. Cook Campus, Rutgers University as part of the Young Horse Teaching & Research Program of the Equine Science Center, Rutgers University. One of a series of tests comparing behavior responses of mustangs fed a high starch diet versus behavior responses of mustangs fed a low starch diet. In this second test, four mustangs have been on a high starch diet (total mixed ration cubes and 10% corn) and four have been on a low starch diet (only total mixed ration cubes) for about a week. The subject was RU Annie Oakley. Duration of test: 4 min 34 sec. Overall Average score on a scale of 1-5 (5 is highest compliance): 4.2. The horse is allowed to examine the cat. Sundance moves around a lot when being rubbed and resists having his legs lifted. He is hesitant to go into the weighing area.

Tim Louis is a practicing lawyer who has been actively involved in Vancouver civic politics for over forty years. Tim has lived and worked in Vancouver all his adult life. From his early days as a law student at UBC – during which time he co-founded Vancouver’s custom transit service for people with disabilities [HandyDART], through to his terms as an elected official on both Park Board and City Council, Tim has listened to, and advocated on behalf of, communities across Vancouver. Penny Parry was born in Montreal and moved to BC in the late 1970’s. She has worked as a university professor, psychologist and artist, among other things. She is a former Child and Youth Advocate for the City of Vancouver. Pennyhas a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, and a BA and PhD in psychology.

Through the Cold is a music video I created on behalf of my band, Redding. Technically executing the project reached into the fields of audio production (songwriting and recording) and video production (lighting, directing, and editing).
