Promocijas darba mērķis ir pētīt vispārizglītojošā internātpamatskolā dzīvojošo pusaudžu dzīvesdarbības prasmes un izstrādāt teorētiski pamatotu pedagoģiskās darbības modeli dzīvesdarbības prasmju apguvei, to eksperimentāli pārbaudīt. Pētījuma aktualitāti nosaka fakts, ka internātpamatskolas pedagoģiskais process nav pētīts, internātskolu praksē nav konsekventas izpratnes par to, kā dzīvesdarbības prasmju apguvi savienot ar mācību un audzināšanas procesu, kā arī teorētiski pamatotu un empīriski pārbaudītu dzīvesdarbības prasmju apguves kritēriju un rādītāju nepieciešamība skolu (internātpamatskolu) pedagoģijas teorijā un praksē. Promocijas darbā autore analizē darbības, dzīvesdarbības būtību un konkretizē jēdzienu dzīvesdarbības prasmes. Uz zinātniskās literatūras analīzes pamata atklāta dzīvesdarbības prasmju veidošanās darbībā, tās objektīvie un subjektīvie komponenti, pamatojot dzīvesdarbības prasmju nepieciešamību internātpamatskolā, kas nosaka tālāko skolēnu sekmīgu dzīvesdarbību. Definēti subjektīvie sekmīgu dzīvesdarbību veicinošie faktori: motivētība, mērķtiecība, patstāvība, pašattīstība. Promocijas darbā atklāti pedagoģiskie nosacījumi pusaudžu dzīvesdarbības prasmju sekmīgai attīstībai vispārizglītojošas internātpamatskolas pedagoģiskajā procesā. Pētījuma gaitā izstrādāta un empīriski pārbaudīta dzīvesdarbības prasmju veidošanās procesuālā struktūra, dzīvesdarbības prasmju kritēriji un rādītāji. Izveidots teorētiski pamatots dzīvesdarbības prasmju apguves modelis pusaudžiem, noteikti tā nozīmīgākie struktūrkomponenti, akcentējot ģimeniskuma un sadarbības nozīmi. Empīriskā pētījuma rezultāti apstiprina aizvirzīto hipotēzi par dzīvesdarbības prasmju apguvi internātpamatskolas pedagoģiskajā procesā. Pētījuma bāzi veido Balvu novada Tilžas internātpamatskolas, Liepājas novada Vaiņodes internātpamatskolas, Alūksnes novada Liepnas internātpamatskolas un Jēkabpils novada Biržu internātpamatskolas 140 skolēni un 69 skolotāji. Promocijas darbu veido divas daļas, nobeigums, literatūras saraksts un pielikumi. Darba pamatteksts izklāstīts uz 156 lappusēm, to ilustrē 36 attēli, 9 tabulas. Literatūras un avotu sarakstā iekļauti 307 izdevumu nosaukumi latviešu, krievu, angļu un vācu valodās. Pievienots 21 pielikums. The goal of the PhD dissertation is to study the lifeskills of adolescents living in a general boarding elementary school and to develop theoretically based pedagogical operating model for acquisition of lifeskills, and to examine it experimentally. Topicality of the research has been determined by the fact that the pedagogical process of the boarding elementary school has not been researched yet; there is no consequent understanding, how to relate acquisition of lifeskills with learning and upbringing process, as well as the necessity of theoretically based and empirically examined criteria and indicators of lifeskills’ acquisition in the pedagogical theory and practice of schools (boarding elementary schools). The author of the PhD dissertation analyses nature of activity, lifeskills activity and specifies the notion of lifeskills. Building of lifeskills in actions, its objective and subjective components are discovered on the basis of scientific literature analysis by justifying the necessity of lifeskills at boarding elementary school, which determines further successful life activities of pupils. The following subjective contributing factors of lifeskills have been defined: motivatedness, purposefulness, self-independence, self-development. In the PhD dissertation pedagogical conditions for successful development of adolescents’ lifeskills in the pedagogical process of general boarding elementary school are discovered. During the research period the procedural structure of lifeskills’ building has been developed and empirically examined, as well as criteria and indicators of lifeskills. Theoretically-based model for acquisition of lifeskills for adolescents has been created; the most significant structural components emphasizing importance of family and cooperation has been determined. Results of empirical research approve the stated hypothesis about acquisition of lifeskills in the pedagogical process of boarding elementary school. Research base consists of 140 pupils and 69 teachers of Balvi Municipality Tilža Boarding Elementary School, Alūksne Municipality Liepna Boarding Elementary School and Jēkabpils Municipality Biržu Boarding Elementary School.

In the first chapter of the dissertation the essence un interpretations of the systemic risk is explored, identification and analysis of factors that contribute to the systemic risk is done, including, distinguishing system agents and their interests that facilitate the increase in systemic risk level. The role of the systemic risk in contributing to the financial crisis is also explored, as well as the costs and benefits of the regulatory framework of the systemic risk are analysed. In the second chapter of the dissertation various systemic risk evaluation models and their disadvantages are examined, including on accounting data based models, on market data based models, network models, combined models. The second chapter ends with the rationale for the evaluation model of the indirect interconnectedness aspect of the systemic risk that is applicable to banking sectors in the Baltic countries. Whereas, in the third chapter of the dissertation the development and specifics of the Baltic banking systems are investigated, the methodological aspects of the model are set, and results are presented. As well as robustness checks are performed using alternative methods to analyse systemic risk. Keywords: systemic risk, indirect interconnectedness, banking system Promocijas darba pirmajā daļā tiek izpētīta sistēmiskā riska būtība un interpretācijas, tiek veikta sistēmiskā riska veicinošo faktoru identificēšana un analīze. Tiek arī noteikta sistēmiskā riska loma finanšu krīzes veicināšanā, kā arī analizēti sistēmiskā riska pārvaldīšanas regulatīvā ietvara ieguvumi un trūkumi. Promocijas darba otrajā daļā tiek pētīti dažādi sistēmiskā riska novērtēšanas modeļi un to trūkumi, un tiek veikts Baltijas banku nozares sistēmiskā riska aspekta – netiešās savstarpējās saiknes – novērtēšanas modeļa izstrādes pamatojums. Promocijas darba trešajā daļā tiek izpētīta Baltijas valstu banku sistēmu attīstība un specifika, tiek noteikti modeļa metodoloģiskie aspekti un sniegti modeļa rezultāti, kā arī veikts kritisks modeļa rezultātu novērtējums, izmantojot alternatīvas sistēmiskā riska analīzes metodes. No modeļa rezultātiem tiek secināts, ka Latvijas banku nozarē starp bankām pastāv visciešākā sasaiste. Atslēgvārdi: sistēmiskais risks, netiešās savstarpējās saiknes, banku sistēma.

Promocijas darbs veltīts Ziemeļvidzemes biosfēras rezervāta meža ainavu dinamikas izpētei meža nozares rīcības politikas kontekstā. Meža ainavu ekoloģiskā struktūra, tajā skaitā ainavas raksts, izcirtumu un veco mežaudžu ģeogrāfiskais izvietojums, pētīts valsts, Rīgas pašvaldības un privāto īpašnieku mežos reģionālā, ainavas un lokālā mērogā. Pētījumā izmantotas kvantitatīvas analīzes metodes – ainavu telpiskā raksta indikatori un telpiskās analīzes rīki. Pētījuma rezultāti parāda, ka valsts un pašvaldības mežos līdz 2008. gadam izcirtumu telpisko struktūru galvenokārt noteica audzes vecumstruktūra un piekļuves iespējas, bet pēc 2008. gada būtiska nozīme ir ciršanas apjoma palielināšanai, cirsmu koncentrācijas stratēģijas ieviešanai un jaunu meža autoceļu izbūvei, kas palielināja audžu sasniedzamību. Privāto īpašnieku mežaudžu telpisko struktūru nosaka apstāklis, ka daudzi meži ir veidojušies, dabiski aizaugot bijušajām lauksaimniecības zemēm. Privātie īpašnieki, salīdzinot ar valsts un pašvaldības mežu apsaimniekotājiem, daudz vairāk ir izmantojuši valsts meža rīcības politikas atbalstīto dabisko meža atjaunošanu, kā rezultātā privāto īpašnieku meža masīvos izplatītas jaunaudzes ar lielu baltalkšņu un apšu īpatsvaru. VAS „Latvijas valsts meži” īstenotā meža rīcības politika, izdalot dabiskos meža biotopus un ekomežus, būtiski uzlabo konektivitāti starp mežaudzēm īpaši aizsargājamās dabas teritorijās, kurās noteikts galvenās cirtes aizliegums. Doctoral thesis is devoted to the study of dynamics of forest landscapes within the North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve in the context of forest sector policy. The structure and dynamics of forest landscapes were studied at regional, landscape and local scales for spatial patterns of overmature stands and clearcuts in forest landscapes owned by state, Riga municipality and private owners. The study utilized quantitative methods – landscape metrics and spatial analysis tools. Results showed that spatial pattern of clearcuts in state and municipality forest tracts before 2008 was mainly influenced by stand age structure and accessibility of harvested stands, but after 2008 – by increased harvesting volume, concentrated felling and the building of new forest roads. The spatial pattern of private forest stands is influenced by the fact that they have formed by natural afforestation of abandoned agricultural lands. Compared to state and municipality forests, the managers of private forests have much more relied on the forest policy preference for natural afforestation, which resulted in increased proportions of grey alder and aspen stands. Forest policy implemented by Joint Stock Company „Latvijas valsts meži” includes the designation and protection of high conservation value forests and woodland key habitats promotes connectivity of protected stands with harvesting restrictions. ANNOTATION The framework of the study is the EU conce0pt of trade unions in social dialogue and social partnership in the public sector. Social dialogue is a relatively new concept. It has gained significant importance in public debates internationally only in the last decades and is grounded in the constitution and activities of ILO covering rights at work, employment and social protection. Through its tripartite structure, the ILO has unique access to the world in relation to the Social dialogue implementation. Social dialogue and social security also became fundamental elements in the European Social policy, thus the EU could serve as an example of analysis of main trends in the development of Social dialog and Social partnership at the EU and national levels. The subject of current discussion at the EU level is focused on such models as, for example, European Social Union, which would complement the European Economic Union and a European Political Union. This study outlines the concept of the Social dialogue as a core element of the industrial relations with a focus on industrial relations specifically in the public sector. The concept of Social dialogue and the role of trade unions in negotiations with social partners could contribute to the discussion about European Social Union. The author has elaborated the approach to industrial relations and Social dialogue taking into account comparative approach to definitions provided by the international institutions such as ILO and OECD as well as institutions in the EU and Latvia. The author also refers to a number of studies by scholars that made contributions to this area of research. Special attention is given to trade unions as a social partner in decision – making process at the EU level, where social partnership as a part of the EU social dimension and is significantly developed compare to the other parts of the world. In this study different trade unions’ models are discussed and compared. In particular, a model of trade unions’ in nowadays Latvia is analysed. The role of trade unions as a social partner in decision -making process related mainly to the public sector is illustrated.. The author applies a “model-based” approach by using the example of Latvia where a number of anti-crisis measures have been undertaken. Latvia could serve as an example of one of the peripheral EU Member States and also a ‘programme’ country that benefited from EU and IMF assistance, but experienced challenges in effectiveness of social dialogue and performance of trade unions. The paper discusses the current developments related to the position of Latvian Free Trade Union Federation in the system of decision-making process related to the public administration management. Finally the prospective role of trade unions in the EU and in Latvia is analysed and possible revitalisation of trade union is discussed. The author suggests to deeper the role of trade unions in implementation of the flexicurity principles as well as in the implementation of the European Citizen’s Initiative. On the basis of the main findings, the study provides conclusions and suggestions for trade union actions. Keywords: trade unions, legislation, social dialogue, and social partnership. ANOTĀCIJA Pētījuma pamats ir Eiropas Savienības arodbiedrību koncepts sociālajā dialogā un sociālā partnerība publiskās pārvaldes lēmumu pieņemšanas procesā. Sociālais dialogs ir salīdzinoši jauns jēdziens, kas tikai pēdējās desmitgadēs ir ieguvis nozīmīgu vietu publiskajās debatēs starptautiskā līmenī. Tas ir balstīts uz Starptautiskās darba organizācijas (turpmāk – SDO, angļu valodā – International Labour Organization) konstitūciju un darbību, aptverot tādas jomas, kā darba tiesības, nodarbinātība un sociālā aizsardzība. Izmantojot šo trīspusējo struktūru, SDO pasaulē īsteno unikālu pieeju sociālā dialoga ieviešanā. Sociālā drošība un sociālais dialogs ir arī Eiropas sociālās politikas pamatelementi, tādējādi norises ES var kalpot arī nacionālo līmeņu, tajā skaitā Latvijas, sociālā dialoga un sociālās partnerības galveno tendenču attīstības analīzei. Šis pētījums iezīmē sociālā dialoga jēdzienu kā galveno elementu darba attiecībās ar uzsvaru tieši uz darba attiecībām publiskajā sektorā. Autors ir izstrādājis pieeju darba attiecībām un sociālajam dialogam, ņemot vērā salīdzinošo pieeju definīcijas, ko noteikušas starptautiskās institūcijas, piemēram, SDO un Ekonomiskās sadarbības un attīstības organizācija (angļu valodā – Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, OECD), kā arī dažādas iestādes ES un Latvijā. Autors atsaucies arī uz vairākiem pētījumiem, ko veikuši zinātnieki ar nozīmīgiem ieguldījumiem šajā pētniecības jomā. Īpaša uzmanība pievērsta arodbiedrībām kā sociālajam partnerim lēmumu pieņemšanas procesā ES līmenī, kur sociālā partnerība ir daļa no ES sociālās dimensijas un ir ievērojami attīstījusies salīdzinājumā ar valstīm citur pasaulē. Pašreizējās diskusijas ES līmenī ir vērstas uz tādiem modeļiem, kā, piemēram, Eiropas sociālā savienība, kas var papildināt Eiropas Ekonomikas un monetāro savienību, un diskusijas par Eiropas politisko savienību. Šis pētījums arī iezīmējis sociālā dialoga konceptu kā galveno elementu darba attiecībās ar uzsvaru uz darba attiecībām īpaši publiskajā sektorā. Arodbiedrību loma sarunās ar sociālajiem partneriem un sociālā dialoga koncepcija varētu būt ļoti nozīmīga diskusijās par Eiropas sociālo savienību. Šajā pētījumā tiek apspriesti un salīdzināti dažādu arodbiedrību modeļi, un jo īpaši tiek analizēts mūsdienu Latvijas arodbiedrību modelis. Tiek analizēta arodbiedrību kā sociālā partnera loma lēmumu pieņemšanas procesā – galvenokārt attiecībā uz valsts sektoru. Darbā tiek iztirzāta Latvijai aktuālā Latvijas Brīvo arodbiedrību savienības darbība un tās attīstība, īpaši attiecībā uz lēmumu pieņemšanas procesu, kas saistīts ar valsts pārvaldes vadību. Nobeigumā, balstoties uz intervijām un anketēšanu, analizējot ekspertu viedokļus, kā arī apkopojot un analizējot arodbiedrību biedru viedokļus un pārējo iedzīvotāju viedokļus, tiek analizēta arodbiedrību loma perspektīvā ES un Latvijā un izvērtēta arodbiedrību nozīme lēmumu pieņemšanā publiskajā pārvaldē. Pamatojoties uz galvenajiem atklājumiem, pētījuma rezultātā apkopoti secinājumi un izstrādāti priekšlikumi arodbiedrību darbībai publiskās pārvaldes lēmumu pieņemšanā. Annotation Thesis „Struggle for Power in Western Periphery of post-empire Russia (1917–1920): theoretical and historiographical problems” investigate how contemporary historical literature problematizes struggle for power in the region between the Baltic sea and the Black sea (on the territory of Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Byelorussia and Ukraine) in the period after the fall of czarist power in spring 1917 until the conclusion of armistice between Poland and Soviet Russia in the autumn 1920. The thesis presents comparative analysis of history preceding struggle for power in the Western periphery of post-empire Russia, historiography includes defining conceptions of the struggle as well as the consequences of the struggle and its significance or post-history. Being aware of the significance of researchers transference of history material and theoretical ideas and empirical material the thesis reach the conclusion enquires if there are grounds to speak about network on the global, regional and local level. Anotācija Promocijas darbā „Cīņa par varu Krievijas postimpērijas Rietumu perifērijā (1917–1920): teorētiskās un historiogrāfiskās problēmas” ir pētīts, kā mūsdienu vēstures literatūrā ir problematizēta cīņa par varu reģionā starp Baltijas jūru un Melno jūru (Somijas, Igaunijas, Latvijas, Lietuvas, Polijas, Baltkrievijas, Ukrainas teritorijās) periodā no carisma krišanas 1917. gada pavasarī līdz Polijas un Padomju Krievijas pamiera noslēgšanai 1920. gada rudenī. Darbs ir veikts, salīdzinoši analizējot priekšvēsturi cīņai par varu Krievijas postimpērijas Rietumu perifērijā, historiogrāfijā ietvertās cīņu definējošās koncepcijas, kā arī cīņas sekas un nozīmi jeb pēcvēsturi. Apzinoties pētnieku teorētisko ideju un empīriskā materiāla jeb vēstures zināšanu pārneses nozīmi, darbā ir konstatēts, vai ir pamats runāt par tīklojumu globālajā, reģionālajā un lokālajā līmenī. Anotācija Promocijas darbā pētīta karjeras izglītības vadība Latvijas vispārizglītojošās skolās skolēnu karjeras vadības kompetences veidošanā. Pētījuma gaitā izveidots un praksē izvērtēts karjeras izglītības atbalsta sistēmas vadības modelis vispārizglītojošām skolām, kura teorētisko pamatojumu veido karjeras izglītības kā sistēmas izpratne indivīda karjeras attīstībā un kas kalpo kā instruments karjeras izglītības vadības pilnveidei, sekmējot sistēmisku karjeras izglītības vadību, vienotas karjeras izglītības politikas īstenošanu skolēnu karjeras vadības kompetences veidošanā. Kā nozīmīgākie aspekti karjeras izglītības atbalsta sistēmas darbībai ir konstatēta vienotas skolas karjeras izglītības politikas veidošana un karjeras izglītības integrācija mācību priekšmetos. Promocijas darbā sniegts kritisks monopolizācijas procesa mūsdienu ekonomiskajos apstākļos pārskats, kas veikts, aplūkojot to no vairākiem argumentētiem skatupunktiem un tādējādi nodrošinot attiecīgās tirgus parādības padziļinātu izpēti. Ir veikta tā izcelsmes avotu, virzītājspēku un veidojošo elementu kopas mijiedarbības analīze vienotā vērtējuma ietvara kontekstā, kā arī parādīts tā norises algoritms. Ir izstrādāta inovatīva metodoloģiska pieeja monopolistisko tendenču pastiprināšanos ietekmējošo faktoru identificēšanai un novērtēšanai, vienlaicīgi pievēršoties to izraisīto ekonomisko seku analīzei. Promocijas darbs sniedz jaunu tirgus veidu tipoloģiskās stratifikācijas sistēmas redzējumu, kas vienlaikus atbilst zinātniski atzītākajām un starptautiski izmantotām attiecīgās problemātikas analīzes pieejām. Tiek nodrošināta pietiekamas empīrisko pierādījumu kopas sistematizētas bāzes izveidošana, kas ļauj pamatoti interpretēt monopolizāciju kā ekonomisko procesu un monopolu kā tirgus konjunktūras konfigurācijas tipu, kas gan atbilst, gan vienlaicīgi papildina mūsdienu ievērojamāko ekonomiskās domas skolu redzējumu attiecīgajā jautājumā. Promocijas darba gaitā tika izstrādāta vispārēji piemērojama, funkcionāli daudzpusīga un uz rezultātu orientēta monopolizācijas procesa novērtēšanas metodoloģija, kas nodrošina iespēju ātri un holistiski veikt pētījumu par retrospektīvu un/vai pašreizējo ekonomiskās vides strukturēšanu izvēlētajā nacionālās tautsaimniecības sektorā, nozarē vai šaurāk definētajā konkrētajā tirgū. Tādējādi tiek piedāvāts izmaksu ziņā efektīvs veids, kā uzlabot valsts pārvaldes atbildīgo regulējošo iestāžu, privātā sektora uzņēmumu un bezpeļņas nodibinājumu, kā arī citu nevalstisko organizāciju un domnīcu analītisko kapacitāti un operacionālo sniegumu. Promocijas darbs ir izstrādāts angļu valodā, tā sastāvā ir ievads, trīs nodaļas, secinājumi un priekšlikumi. Darba apjoms ir 180 lapaspuses, neskaitot pielikumus. Tajā ir iekļautas 37 tabulas, 20 attēli, 16 formula un 60 pielikumi, kas paskaidro un ilustrē pētījuma saturu. Bibliogrāfijas saraksts ietver 185 informācijas avotus.

ABSTRACT The topicality of the Doctoral Thesis lies in the problems unsolved in the sector of vocational education: adequacy of the content of vocational education for the requirements in the labour market, assurance of opportunities for life-long education in formal vocational education, quality of vocational education. The first section of the theory part provides an insight into the historical development of the system of vocational education. The second section describes the internal and external environment of the vocational education system. The third section includes an analysis of change management theories. The practical research part of the Doctoral Thesis includes an analysis of the documents regulating the development of the content of vocational education and the empirical study conducted by the author. The obtained results and their interpretation provide information on the contributions of the respondents to the development of the content of vocational education. The conclusion includes a summary of the results of the work and a confirmation of the theses proposed for defence. ANOTĀCIJA Promocijas darba aktualitāte pamatota ar profesionālajā izglītībā neatrisinātām problēmām kā profesionālās izglītības satura neatbilstība darba tirgus prasībām, mūžizglītības iespēju nodrošināšana formālajā profesionālajā izglītībā un profesionālās izglītības kvalitāte. Teorētiskās daļas pirmajā nodaļā sniegts ieskats profesionālās izglītības sistēmas vēsturiskajā attīstībā, raksturotas izglītības paradigmas. Otrajā nodaļā raksturota profesionālās izglītības sistēmas iekšējā un ārējā vide. Trešajā nodaļā analizētas pārmaiņu vadības teorijas. Praktiski pētnieciskā daļa ietver profesionālās izglītības satura izstrādi reglamentējošo normatīvo dokumentu satura analīzi un autores veiktu empīrisku pētījumu. Nobeigumā rezumēti darba rezultāti un sniegts aizstāvēšanai izvirzīto tēžu apstiprinājums. Ieteikumu sadaļā iekļauti priekšlikumi profesionālās izglītības satura izstrādē un īstenošanā iesaistīto institūciju sadarbības pilnveidošanai, kā arī autores izveidotais profesionālās izglītības modelis.

Due to the large volumes of data and reports accumulated in data warehouses, report exploration and execution seems to be a tedious and time-consuming task. Moreover, a user is rather limited in expressing the likes and dislikes (even in commercial tools for data warehouse reporting) to get the results that are more satisfying. However, there is a space for experiments in personalization opportunities with the purpose to provide the data that is relevant for a user, since data warehouse personalization is a developing field of research. As a result of the comparative analysis of the state-of-the-art approaches of data warehouse personalization, the research continued in the direction of report recommendations based on the implicitly or explicitly defined user preferences on elements of the data warehouse schema. The main contribution of the thesis are three content-based methods – hot-start, cold-start, and semantic hot-start – that distinguish and recommend reports, which potentially may interest the user, exploiting user preferences for data warehouse schema elements and aggregate functions. Each of the methods uses a different technique to define similarity of reports: the hot-start method takes advantage of the user activity log, the cold-start method analyzes the structure of reports, and the semantic hot-start method employs user-defined preferences for report elements. The experimental study was performed involving users who had different level of experience with reporting tools to explore, which of the methods for generating recommendations would produce more accurate recommendations. To evaluate each method and compare with others, user activity log was analyzed as well as direct feedback was gathered in a form of user survey and processed. Summarizing the results of the experimentation, the semantic hot-start method was most appreciated by experienced users, whereas novice users showed preference for both cold-start and semantic hot-start methods. Lielā datu noliktavās uzkrāto datu un atskaišu apjoma dēļ, atskaišu izpilde un pārlūkošana var būt nogurdinoša un laikietilpīga. Turklāt, lietotājs ir visai ierobežots savu vēlmju izteikšanā kvalitatīvāku rezultātu iegūšanai (arī komerciālos datu noliktavu atskaišu rīkos). Taču, ir jēga veikt eksperimentus personalizācijas iespēju jomā, kuru mērķis būtu lietotāja vajadzībām atbilstošu datu sniegšana, jo datu noliktavu personalizācijas pētījumi šobrīd ir attīstības stadijā. Pēc veiktā esošo datu noliktavu personalizācijas pieeju salīdzinājuma, pētījums tika attīstīts atskaišu rekomendāciju jomā, kurš balstās uz tiešā vai netiešā veidā iegūtiem lietotāja iestatījumiem par datu noliktavas shēmas elementiem. Galvenais promocijas darba devums ir trīs uz saturu balstītas metodes: hot-start, cold-start un semantic hot-start, kuras ļauj veikt lietotājam potenciāli interesējošo atskaišu atlasi un rekomendēšanu, ņemot vērā lietotāja veiktos iestatījumus par datu noliktavas shēmas elementiem un agregātfunkcijām. Katrā no šīm metodēm tiek izmantots savs paņēmiens, lai noteiktu atskaišu līdzību: hot-start metodē tiek izmantota lietotāja aktivitātes žurnāltabula, cold-start metodē tiek veikta atskaišu struktūras analīze, semantic hot-start metodē tiek izmantoti lietotāja veiktie iestatījumi par atskaites elementiem. Tika veikts praktisks eksperimentāls pētījums, kurā piedalījās lietotāji ar dažādu pieredzes līmeni darbā ar atskaišu rīkiem, lai noskaidrotu, kura rekomendāciju veidošanas metode sniegs precīzākas rekomendācijas. Katras metodes novērtēšanai un savstarpējai salīdzināšanai tika analizētas lietotāja veiktās darbības eksperimenta laikā, novērtētas lietotāja atsauksmes, kuras tie sniedza, aizpildot anketu ar jautājumiem par eksperimenta norisi. Eksperimenta analīze parādīja, ka pieredzējušie lietotāji vislabāk vērtēja semantic hot-start metodi, turpretim, lietotāji ar nelielu pieredzi deva priekšroku gan cold-start, gan semantic hot-start metodei.

Multiphase polyolefin compositions with elastomers and cross-linking promoters have been researched in the work. The influence of radiation-chemical modification and the high intensity magnetic field (B = 1.0-1.7 T) has been researched on the tensile and structure properties of the investigated composite systems, as well as the interaction effect of ionizing radiation and magnetic field on the polyolefin cross-linking efficiency has been investigated. New theoretical and practical scientific recognitions have been determined concerning the properties of radiation-chemically modified polyolefin multiphase compositions. That capacitated the development of new thermoshrinkable materials based on polypropylene. Promocijas darbā pētītas poliolefīnu – multifāzu kompozīcijas ar elastomēriem un šķērssaistīšanās promotoriem. Izvērtēta radiācijķīmiskās modificēšanas un lielas indukcijas magnētiskā lauka (B = 1,0-1,7 T) ietekme uz pētīto kompozītsistēmu stiprības-deformācijas, struktūras īpašībām, kā arī novērtēta magnētiskā lauka un jonizējošā starojuma mijiedarbības ietekme uz poliolefīnu makromolekulu šķērssaistīšanās efektivitāti. Iegūtas jaunas teorētiskas un praktiskas atziņas par radiācijķīmiski modificētu poliolefīnu multifāzu kompozīciju ekspluatācijas īpašībām, kas ļāva radīt jaunus uz polipropilēna bāzētus termonosēdmateriālus.
