    The island operation of a larger part of the power grid (such as a city) is a commonly discussed topic in the view of rising need of dynamic power system being able to withstand power balance changes that are given by large connection of the RES and also by price changes on the electricity market. Despite doubts in the financial side of island operations (no financial motivation for DSOs or producers to secure such a difficult operation status) there are technical issues that need to be solved. This paper makes a quick examination of the differences between currently installed UFLS tool in the 110kV and 22kV substations and possible RoCoF instead of the first levels of current UFLS.

    Authors: Vejmělková, Veronika;

    On the topic of sustainable design, I chose the subtopic of beekeeping. I created a mobile apiary that can be attached to a car. The apiary consists of two parts from the living room for the beekeeper, where he has the opportunity to get honey and thus ensure all the service of the bees, at the same time he has a place to rest after work. The second part is for the bees, there is access to the hives from the back of the hives. The beehive has a simple, modern, and timeless design, but despite this, it corresponds with nature and is not a disturbing element in the landscape. My main effort was to adapt beekeeping to everyone, including people who don't have a garden and spaces for handling bees. That's why Včelín is all in one. It is suitable for new beekeepers, but also for experienced beekeepers. I tried to be financially undemanding and thereby perhaps attract new beekeepers. Na téma udržitelného designu jsem si vybral podtéma včelařství. Vytvořila jsem mobilní včelín, který lze připevnit k autu. Včelín se skládá ze dvou částí z obytné části pro včelaře, kde má možnost stočit med a zajistit veškerou obsluhu včel, zároveň si má po práci kde odpočinout. Druhá část je pro včely, k úlům je přístup ze zadní části úlů. Včelí úl má jednoduchý, moderní a nadčasový design, ale přesto koresponduje s přírodou a není rušivým prvkem v krajině. Mou hlavní snahou bylo přizpůsobit včelařství všem, včetně lidí, kteří nemají zahradu a prostory pro manipulaci se včelami. Proto je Včelín vše v jednom. Je vhodný pro začínající včelaře, ale i pro zkušené včelaře. Snažila jsem se o finanční nenáročnost a tím snad přilákat nové včelaře. Obhájeno

    Authors: Malý, Josef; Taušer, Josef;

    Permanent innovations are a key success factor on highly competitive markets. Companies which have invested into the research and development activities during the financial crisis have strengthened their position on the market whereas the companies which were oriented rather to cost cutting have suffered significant losses. To develop and to implement an innovation is a complex process which involves technical and marketing solutions as well as needful financial decisions. Adoption-diffusion model provides theoretical framework to value new technologies. It is based on normal distribution of customers which are divided in five different groups according to their attitude to innovations. Standard deviation of the distribution measures the time which each group of customers needs to adopt the innovation. To predict the market capacity we need, however, to involve many other different factors into our analysis (e.g. competition on the market, price elasticity, external marketing environment, legal conditions for applying new technologies etc.). Finally, we can predict the volume of sales and future cash flows which are, then, discounted to present using appropriate discount rate. If the present value of cash flows exceeds the cost of implementing new technology we commercialize it since the innovation creates the value for shareholders. And vice versa – if the net present value of the project is negative, we may postpone or even reject the commercialization of new technology.

    This methodical guide is based on a synthesis of three approaches to the revitalization of panel housing – urbanist, heritage and architectural. The guide aims to contribute to increasing the lifespan of panel housing while maintaining the estates‘ key values for their residents. It provides suggestions on how best to cultivate the housing estates‘ environment and to positively influence their status within the commonly held image of inhabited landscapes as an effective part of sustainable development of the structure of settlements in the Czech Republic. The guide strives to effectuate change in societal opinion by showcasing panel housing’s domestic history, embodied values and potential for development within the international context. Aside from foreign experiences, it focuses on an original and proven domestic method of facade appearance regulation. Adherence to basic regulations for the foundation and continuous upkeep of traditional urban structures helps panel housing to become a regular part of said structures. The guide encourages searching, appreciation and protection of outstanding and original solutions. The recognition of the specifics of Czech housing estates, which the guide identifies, is to serve as a starting point for their universal acceptance and eventual heritage care.

    Authors: Ženíšková, Vendula;

    This thesis is based on my fieldwork in Dingle which took time from 28th of May 2013 to 29th of January 2014. But it was broken in on for two months because of my study in the Czech Republic. Dingle is a town on the southwest coast of Ireland and 1965 people live there. 620 people of them are immigrants mainly from Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The town spreads on an area, which is roughly 1.5 square miles large, so it´s very small and on this small place few different societies have to coexists. And this coexistence is one aim of my thesis. The next are reasons of migration, process of integration, language of daily communication, social relationships, religion and family and public celebrations. One of the reasons for migration is better wages in Dingle than Czech Republic for the same work. Other reason is the visitation of friends and getting new experiences. This visitation takes a long time sometimes, that means that the visitor will begin to look for a job. If he comes back next year he arrives only for money. This is the work migration and it may be repeated. The process of integration changes with time to process of assimilation because Czech imigrants are losing their culture habits with time. Languages of daily communication for imigrants are English and Czech. They use English at the work, office and pubs and restaurants. At home Czech people speak Czech but they begin to use more English words in communication. So Czech language changes to creole language. Social relationships are without big conflicts and thanks for that imigrant can coexist with Irish people in Dingle. Relationships between Czechs are based on moral behavior. If somebody does something wrong, he is excluded from Dingles´ society. Irish people believe in God but Czech people don´t, it seems like a problem. I found out that different religion isn´t problem in collective living, they tolerate each other. And family and public celebrations? As I wrote up czech people lose their culture habits. The only celebration which they celebrate in the same way as Czech people is Christmas. They celebrate more and more irish festivals with time. But they still say We are the Czech men. This situation means that Czech immigrants are found on the borderline between process of integration and assimilation. Společenství začalo vznikat kolem roku 2003, kdy se ve městě sešlo několik pracovních migrantů zejména Češi, Slováci a Poláci. Malá velikost města a podobný jazyk zřejmě napomohli ke spřátelení těchto lidí, kteří se zde začali na sezónu pravidelně scházet. Sezóna trvá od března do listopadu. Některým se v Dinglu natolik zalíbilo, že se rozhodli zůstat celoročně. Nabídka práce za dobré platové ohodnocení se mezi příbuznými těchto lidí roznesla během krátké doby a pracovních migrantů přibývalo, začalo být nutné jisté organizování společnosti. Během deseti let se utvořilo celkem pevné společenství a každý, kdo přijel poté, již musel přijmout určitá pravidla, aby se mohl stát členem. Práce se bude zaměřovat na důvody vedoucí k migraci, jazyk každodenní komunikace, sociální vztahy a vazby a svátky a jiné obřadnosti. Sběr dat proběhl etnografickým výzkumem, metodou zúčastněného pozorování. Terénní výzkum se uskutečnil od 28. 5. 2013 do 29. 1. 2014, přičemž byl na dva měsíce přerušen (říjen, listopad) kvůli mému absolvování zimního semestru na ZČU. Neobhájeno

    Authors: Rojíková, Roxana;

    I created an object which is physically based on the book. Its cover is made of mirrors and the pages inside are transparent. These materials are thus unusual for the typical production of books. The object depicts the term "SEARCHING" because it is an essential part of everyone's life. Book´s cover is made of mirrors, but we don't know which of the boards is the beginning and the end, so those borders are only imaginary and not real. And there is everything between them. Life, situations, emotions, experiences, feelings. Therefore, each page shows a sort of abstract feelings that everyone experiences during life, but each of us due to different situations. Thus, it shows that all of us are basically the same inside. These illustrations overlap and we don't know which is which, as well as in life emotions are mixed and cannot be completely separated. They are also reflected in a mirror to infinity and thus create a sort of infinite absolute. So this object is just sort of a small fragment taken out of our reality. It is a subject as any other thing in the world that has so many shapes, how many people are looking at it, because everyone has their own vision. Therefore, everyone, looking at the object, sees nothing but their reflection, their feelings, themselves. So it contains everybody. Thus, the aim was to create a mirror of the soul, something that would reflect each of us. There is also a book accompanying the object, which, apart from illustrations, also contains texts that I have been writing during a few months. It is a combination of different ideas that I have had in my mind and have been recording them. From these texts illustrations were created in such a way that I read the text and recorded on paper the abstract scenes that appeared in my mind. Vytvořila jsem objekt fyzicky vycházející z knihy. Jeho desky jsou vytvořeny ze zrcadel a listy uvnitř jsou průhledné. Tyto materiály jsou tedy pro typickou výrobu knihy neobvyklé. Objekt zobrazuje pojem "HLEDÁNÍ", protože je to nosnou částí života každého z nás. Desky knihy tvoří zrcadla a my nevíme, která z nich je začátek a konec, proto jsou tyto hranice života jen pomyslné, ne skutečné. A mezi nimi se to všechno nachází. Život, situace, emoce, zkušenosti, pocity. Na jednotlivých stranách jsou tedy zobrazeny jakési abstraktní pocity, které prožívá každý po dobu života, ale každý kvůli nějakým jiným situacím. Ukazuje to tedy, že všichni jsme uvnitř v podstatě stejní. Tyto ilustrace se prolínají jedna přes druhou a nevíme, která je která, protože i v živote se v nás emoce míchají a nedají se úplně oddělit. Taktéž se odrážejí v zrcadlech do nekonečnosti a tak vytvářejí jakési nekončící absolutno. Takže tento objekt je jen jakýmsi malým fragmentem vytrhnutým z naší reality. Je předmětem jako jakákoliv jiná věc na světě, která má tolik podob, kolik lidí se na ni hledí, protože každý má svoje vlastní vidění. Každý tedy i při pohledu na tento objekt v něm neuvidí nic jiného jen svůj odraz, svoje pocity, sebe. A tak obsahuje úplně všechny. Cílem teda bylo vytvoření jakéhosi zrcadla duše, něčeho, co by odráželo každého z nás. K objektu je doprovodná kniha, která obsahuje kromě ilustrací i texty, které jsem psala po dobu několika měsíců. Je to sbírka různých myšlenek, které mi chodili hlavou a zaznamenávala jsem je. Z těchto textů následně vznikaly ilustrace tak, že jsem si texty četla a na papír zaznamenávala abstraktní výjevy, které se mi při čtení vyjevily v mysli. Obhájeno

    The aim of this diploma thesis is to design and implement a security and camera system, which will be capable of reliable operation in island mode. Powering of both systems will be from a battery source that will be charged from the photovoltaic panel. The photovoltaic panel must provide a sufficient amount of electrical power to recharge the battery, supplying both systems to operate in the evening and night hours. In this paper I describe in detail the design and calculation of the battery capacity and sufficient area of the photovoltaic panel to charge the battery with respect to the worst lighting conditions that may occur during the operation of the security and camera system. Cílem této diplomové práce je navrhnout a realizovat zabezpečovací a kamerový systém, který bude schopen spolehlivého provozu v ostrovním režimu. Napájení obou systémů, bude prováděno z bateriového zdroje, který bude dobíjen z fotovoltaického panelu. Fotovoltaický panel musí zajistit dostatečné množství elektrické energie k dobití baterie napájející oba systémy, aby i ve večerních a nočních hodinách byly provozu schopné. V této práci detailně popisuji návrh a výpočet kapacity baterie a dostatečné plochy fotovoltaického panelu k dobíjení baterie s ohledem na nejhorší světelné podmínky, které mohou v průběhu provozu zabezpečovacího a kamerového systému nastat.

    Authors: Vejmělková, Veronika;

Obhájeno

    Authors: Malý, Josef; Taušer, Josef;

Neobhájeno

    Authors: Rojíková, Roxana;

Obhájeno

    Authors: Mikulenka, Radek;
